Sorry Hollyoaks! You had a chance to make this storyline more realistic and really good and create surprising drama but you blew it. It´s really disappointing to watch this. There are too many things that don´t make any sense at all. Better to make more suspense on how difficult it could be for Ste to get away from home. When he finally do that and are seeing Prevent and then plan to go to New Castle to start a new life with their help. It would have been more interesting to explore how it is to live under hidden identity and the danger you may be in. The group could have got the information in one way or another that Ste moved to New Castle and found him there and tried to kill him there. This is the reality for people living with hidden identity. I can´t imagine that Prevent works like this. It doesn´t make sense which makes it ridiculous to show this in the soap.

I saw the end of the most recent episode. Image if, Johnny was lying to Ste while he was stabbed. To test the loyalty of Ste to brotherhood.

It sounds more likely that he tests Ste´s loyalty as Jonny was the one who didn´t hesitate to kill innocent people that are not even muslims. Why would Ste get into a car with Peri and Leela just to see his kids? Why would Stuart believe that? I think that this storyline is not realistic enough to make sense and the fact that Prevent allows Ste to go back to the group is a very big disappointment. The team of Hollyoaks had a chance to do something really good with this storyline and they blew it.

My first thought seeing it too! When Johnny asked Ste if his stab wound was just a surface wound and the lack of blood, I assumed that Stuart had stabbed him on purpose, but also not deep enough to cause damage. So that Johnny could test Stes loyalty. Exactly like you say.
