This week, the Buckleys are back! With the warm weather we've all been having, it's no wonder the Buckleys have been out in the garden enjoying the sunshine and of course, being in the garden means only one thing, it's time for a Buckley bbq! James fires up the Traeger and does some classic burgers and sausages, not before we manage to have a little Saturday night on the sofa with our favourite family and enjoy a movie :)
James then heads into the big smoke with his mate, Miles Kane who's fresh off the stage with the Arctic Monkeys, to go to a premiere of the new Indiana Jones film, sharing a room with none other than Harrison Ford himself! Let's go!

You're lucky your kids are into anime 😂 Some people have to listen to those whiney American family channels that punt their weans all over the internet for KZbin views. Clair and James have made the right decision by not exposing Harrison and Jude to that world. One of the "moms" in particular's voice goes right through me. If I walk in the room and it's on, it gets switched off right away.

It all changes when they start hitting 12/13, and puberty, and high school. Sit, look at the boys' faces, hug them as much as you can, absorb and lock in their young boy faces. It's all about to go forever. I miss my little boys so much. Mine are now 14 and 16 and completely different from who they were before high school.

People often say that 'Spirited Away', 'Kikis Delivery Service' and/or 'My Neighbor Totoro' are their favourite Studio Ghibli films, maybe as they watched them originally as kids? Personally I'd say my top 5 are: Princess Mononoke Grave of the Fireflies Whisper of the Heart Only Yesterday Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind I think all the Ghibli films are certainly watchable, although I generally prefer the original Japanese audio with subtitles. Some are obviously better than others (often depends who is directing) and the recent CGI film didn't look great. But considering all, or most of them are on Netflix in the UK, well worth trying them.

I love a charcoal BBQ because that feels like a "real" BBQ for me. The husband wanted a gas one, so we have a gas one, but to me, a gas BBQ is the same as putting the oven on 😂

Yeah I used to think that until I got a gas bbq and started using it. Gas or charcoal is simply the fuel. The cooking surface and cooking methods are far more important to how a bbq tastes than what you heat the meat with. That's my take on it but others likely have different opinions.
