As I have always said about how to attain & retain wealth, is that "If you spend money like a pauper, you will never, actually become one"! These actors know that the public is fickle & may lose interest in them, so they're making sure that their current fortunes will last a lifetime!

These Actors who spends there money wisely is very smart. Money is hard to make and easy to spend. You see some thing you need or. Want every time you go to the store. I was taught to buy what you need. Then if you have some money. Left buy what you want.

Almost None of these are actually true, quite a number of these have Other properties, collections of Cars & Motorcycles(RR & KR have Dozens of them, JD has a private Island & a Vinyard in France, LDC has a private Plane & a number of Very Expensive homes), & lets Not forget how Most of them dress, in Very expensive designer clothes, if you are going to give us Facts, then give us All the Facts, & not just the ones you Choose.

I agree they live modestly in comparison to some of the outrageous celebrities, but I would not describe them as living like the average person. Most average people don't live in million dollar homes. Most average people at least in the USA live in homes, if they own a home that cost between $50,000 and $400,000. And they are usually in debt over their mortgage and other possessions. They live paycheck to paycheck. I admire these stars who live less extravagant, but I think this narrative is a bit much.

Living on the edge of poverty you say. Try what a known person has: family of 4, 4 bed 3 bath house, zero debt. Credit cards at hand. Yet their income was the poverty level. Obviously true money managers. People who should advise the government.

I truly believe, in fact, I know, I too if I became fabulously rich with millions in the bank or an investments, I would not change. I’m already a done deal. Yes, I would build my own house. Actually would be a compound. A collection of several buildings that worked together as one with a large court in the middle. I would build a pond for my fish for my convenience. I love fishing. I love eating fish. I dream of about 10 acres of land. About a 5 acre lake would be nice or pond whatever you wanna call it. The buildings would the same as what I’m living in right now except for each one would be about 16 feet wide and 40 feet long. Combined with my existing building which is 10 x 30. I’d have a guest house, house, and a storage building where I could keep my fishing equipment and my collection of cookware. Not including the pond I have priced it to Wright around $400,000. You should include the fence and infrastructure. And I probably would still use my building. I’m living in right now which is as I said 10 feet wide and 30 feet long as my bedroom and main living quarters. It has a convenient kitchenette. I haven’t finished the bathroom yet. I don’t know when I’ll get to that. Would spend money on fishing. Next year, I’m going to Sweden with other members of my family to visit our family over there on the Baltic. Yes I plan to before I leave to come home.
