As a kid at the time, I learned the "Big Mac ingredients" phrase forwards and backwards. 45 years later, I can still recite it both ways. Some things never leave your brain. Thanks for the review, Cecil. This is one film I will check out asap.

This definitely looks like a fun watch, from a more innocent, carefree, time. LMAO, Cecil you were freakin' hilarious here!! Especially on the part with the dude calling himself the Fenz, & ripping off the Fonz's catchphrase! Copy incringement was genius! Lol, think I'll have to start using that term! The Scooby Doo chase music was hilarious, as well, lol!! Man, would I have loved to have lived in California, during that period. My parents were lucky enough to.

One of my favorite guilty pleasure films. I first saw the edited version on USA Up All Night sometime in the mid-'90s and then found the complete movie on a VHS tape at a store a few years later. I'd love to see a reunion of the surviving cast. (RIP, Rae Sperling.)

I kind like these movies, if not for the plot, for the locations. It’s fun to see how known places were in the past. I’m from Brazil and there are lots and lots of movies made in the 70s and 80s. We were under a military dictatorship at that time and it reflected in the movies (they had to be approved by the government censorship bureau), but there were good dramas (mostly about developments around an absurd situation) and lots of brainless fun comedy movies (that actually tried to pass some message… if we could see past the nudity). And I think the girls in old movies were much prettier than today’s. They seemed natural. To be clear I don’t like how actresses are treated today (having to butcher their bodies to stay in “shape” and “retired” as they got older). Eye candy is nice, but it shouldn’t be all that matters.

This Dutch soap opera has the same status in the Netherlands as, IDK, Dallas or something. The title translates to "Good times, bad times". I sometimes try to learn Dutch from it, but I had better luck so far with comic strips. Situations are more realistic so what's learnt is more useful. ;) Also, it is still ongoing after more than thirty years and had an Instagram stories spin-off.
