@@jubalcalif9100 And yet, though it's hard to believe (especially for someone who grew up with the show, and was nearly 17 when Rod died), this year will mark Rod's centenary on Christmas Day. Lloyd Bochner (also mentioned here) will also turn 100 (on July 29), as will Carroll O'Connor on August 2. (O'Connor never on Twilight Zone, but he starred in a surprisingly whimsical Outer Limits episode, "Controlled Experiment" with Barry Morse (who *did* appear in TZ's "A Piano in the House") -- which was also a rare non-Star Trek appearance by Grace Lee Whitney.

Wow. This tripped me out! From the time I was 9 years old until I was 14 Twilight Zone was on. You will never realize what a profound impact this show had on my life. It opened up new worlds to a young boy which set me to writing myself and exploring everything I could find in the world of science fiction. I lived in Newton Falls, Ohio, and I think I remember Rod grew up in Cuyahoga Falls which was just down Rt. 5 by Kent, Ohio, where I went to college. IMO he should be remembered as a syfi writer on the level of Jules Verne. P.S. Your editing, production and film work is just terrific. Stay on the path you're on and it will lead you somewhere. But I especially remember something that Ed Wynn did, and you mentioned, where Mr. Death had come to take a little girl that was dying. But Wynn could see him and his only hope was to keep Death occupied until 12 midnight when the girl would be safe. So he had a salesmen's box filled with trinkets, like men's ties and gee gaws and such, which he proceeded to give a sales pitch to Death on which had Death so enthralled that midnight arrived and the girl could live. At the end Death told him he had given a heck of a sales pitch. Wynn said, "Yes, it was a pitch for the angels." It was, to me as salesman, a pitch for the ages. Just wonderful acting. Brought me to tears. I go to a lot of sites and I forgot I had commented on this before.

By far, _Twilight Zone_ is my most favorite television series of all time. Even after several decades, the stories and the plot lines of TZ hold up wonderfully well. Serling truly had almost a supernatural knack for quite memorably catching the imagination of a public desperately seeking to be scared. I don’t know that there will _ever_ be another talent as captivating and as adept at frightening us as our Mr. Serling. He is, in truly the most honorable way, a master at evoking the most primal of all human fears...and as he has always done, he left us all wanting more.

I decided to revisit this video for the first time in over 2 years. Glad I did. In that clip from "Living Doll," you hear the voice of the late June Foray, another occasional member of the Twilight Zone cast who contributed voices to at least two episodes: the voice of Talky Tina in that episode, and also the dubbed-in voice of the little girl in the weird episode of the mysterious swimming pool where she and her brother go swimming and come out near a rustic shack (sorry, I don't know the episode's name). Oddly enough, Ms. Foray was also the voice of Chatty Cathy, the doll Talky Tina was a parody of.

That Arthur - was the best surprise of the year for me on KZbin! You and your efforts were enjoyed to the fullest - and I personally thank you for your hard work and the work of the others on the film. I only hope this is recognized by KZbin and goes on to mass a huge number of views.

No, I'd rather hear Rod Sterling's introduction, there is nobody who could replace his voice. This man was a genius. He could see in the future and know it. Thank you, Twilight Zone, this was the best and most awesome T.V. programs ever. So glad my generation grew up watching this. Sorry, Mr. Sterling, you left too soon. RIP.

Mister Dark, you have become my favorite guide to the macabre, I look forward to more stuff like this, it's freaking amazing! I can't express how good that was, thank you so much to you , the cast and crew! What a treat!

That was the finest thing I've ever watched on KZbin! The writing, the acting, the cinematography were all superb. It almost seems a shame that this is confined to KZbin and not being broadcast over cable and the airwaves. Simply amazing work, Mr. Dark!

With my declined health I am not able to volunteer for Findagrave like I have done in years past. I love watching all of your videos! I enjoy cemetery walking and learning about the people and their history...... But this video..... THIS. IS. BEYOND. AWESOME!!! Thank you for all that you do!! Wow!!

Mr. Dark is definitely a genius as well as being totally dedicated to this amazing awesome Hollywood Graveyard series. I used to spend my free time playing music videos before i came across Mr. Dark's work by chance. This particular video finally gave us the chance to see the man close up.

Hi Arthur I’m a relatively new subscriber of about 2-3 months. I thoroughly enjoy your Hollywood Graveyard tours and the interesting stories of the stars themselves. This was an absolute genius production for yourself and your crew. Amazing job. 👍
