Those two clowns discussing the case false narrative with laughter was just horrible. There was zero humor about this woman's torture & mutilation. Like ZERO! Odd how the cops refused to enter a rich man's apartment in a nice part of town to do a wellness check on his girlfriend, even though he already had a domestic assault charge from another woman - but they don't hesitate to ram through a family's front door with guns drawn on a mere whim in a lower-income neighborhood. Odd indeed...

Jana was murdered because of a fatal mistake that has led to the murder of many women, and not a few men either. She agreed to meet with her ex-romantic partner alone. This such a Bad Idea, regardless of how amicable the break up might have seemed. ALWAYS meet an ex-romantic partner in a well lit public place, preferably in broad daylight. Or at least bring a friend with you as a witness. NO One deserves to be murdered, but some people are apparently smarter than others about how to avoid situations that can get them murdered, and poor Jana was Clueless in that regard. The poor girl must have thought she was still in Ukraine, rather than America, the Homicide Capital of Planet Earth.

I'm sorry but the female interviewer at that science fiction festival (or whatever it is) deserves some kind of award for not devolving into tears and laughter at how utterly lame Blake is when describing his alien-dinosaur-etcetera movie or book(?) And btw you're not wrong, this guy had red flags that were quite vibrant. It's not just that we know what he's done. We would still get some "weird vibes" because they're so obvious. He would be in his mom's basement if he weren't born to a wealthy family, and actually that's an insult to men who currently live in their mom's basements.

I have always felt that saying things like this lets then off easy like it says "there was nothing he could do, he was just born this way". Evil doesn't exist. Human nature is dark and complex and grotesque at times. When we write these people off as evil or as"monsters" we can't learn anything about what caused it. Just an opinion, so it's not worth much. and this is a very disturbing case.

@@Gilliebeany That's just your perception of the word and what you think it means. If we call some people saints or say they are an angel on earth, there's got to be an opposite to that. If you believe in good, you have to believe in evil. We do understand evil monsters, they are psychopaths. When you have no conscience, no empathy, no regard for human life, you are evil, no longer a human in the way we have come to understand humanity.

Yeah I agree, I thought it was an otherwise well made video, but this really put me off big time and is the sole reason I didn't subscribe. It was also horrible listening to Jeffries laugh about such an awful crime with that radio host... really not a respectful way to end the video I didn't think. Lastly, showing images of her daughter towards the end is, I think, quite disrespectful to her privacy & her mother's memory. If I was her grandmother, I'd really want her identity to be kept anonymous given all she will have to endure as it is.

Yet I have known a couple people who got hooked on coke and they acted like he did. The narrator saying that Blake's erratic behaviour was 'off' in the interview, and raised his eyebrows, is probably bias because he is aware of what Blake did. Its true, we can all intuitively feel someone is socipathic by their behaviour however, imagine doing that with Jim Carey way back when!! Personalities, are complex, and there is a distinct difference between someone having an 'off' or 'eratic' personality, and being assumed as a murdering psycho!!! Blake clearly was one, but the narrator assigning his personality at that time to this fact, only serves to tar anyone with an overtly animated character as a villain.
