I didnt even know those were kunai when i first started out. I have been learning how to throw only kunai and to be honest its not that awful. Yeah, the bounce-back almost hit me twice, other than that they work fine. Also their weight makes them harder to stick. Great video! Edit: when i talked about kunai i meant the "crappy" cheap ones you showed at the start
@zomb13242 жыл бұрын
Because of you. And your teaching videos I have learned to throw some knives. I actually posted one of me sticking 5 for 5 about 6ft away.

Saw Shadiversity's video on his opinion of knife throwing in combat, noticed someone mention your name in the comments and thought I'd check it out. Love your videos. I really enjoy throwing knives, never knew the names of the types of throws I was doing instinctively, now I do, and picked up some new knowledge, thanks. Check out Shadiversity's video, I'd be interested to hear your opinion on it.

Hey Adam, here's an idea for video: weapon throw on a big tree then climbing some meters. It's dangerous and I know you already did a lot of stepping on the knives in old videos but it could prove that the old stories of ninja climbing the trees with kunai are real

Hey Adam, my friend, a bit off topic, but: Shad from Shadiversity (pretty big channel) put out a vid about throwing knives (see here kzbin.info/www/bejne/narbioJqd9uNaJI) - while this guy normally really knows his stuff especially about medieval weapons, this vid about knife throwing is horrible and full of misconceptions and prejudices. I don´t know if this is possible, but perhaps you could contact the guy and put in a word for the knife throwing community or Shad could even do a follow up / correction video featuring you. He certainly is the kind of guy who can admit mistakes and correct them / On a sidenote: Man, I absolutely LOVE your Top Dog - a lot more than the Arrows, which are great already too...
@AdamCeladin2 жыл бұрын
Hey my friend, yes i know i will make respond video for sure very soon... his vid was sooo random :D
@wartstein88142 жыл бұрын
@@AdamCeladin Right, a respond video is the best idea... silly of me not to think about this! 😛 But perhaps you´d like to contact him before or anyway, don´t know. As said: I am a long time subscriber to Shads channel, normally he makes good stuff, and is really open for discussion and admitting and correcting mistakes. Don´t know why this particular vid is so bad and why he has done no real research (Even Skallagrim, also more an "medieval guy" did a proper vid on your throwing knives and got the basic hang of no spin throwing pretty quickly ) And if you contact him, maybe he could mention and point to your respond vid so that more people see how a REAL world class knife thrower puts things in perspective again. I actually sent Shad in the comment section several links to vids of yours, and also to the one on Joergs channel where you "kill" the Coconut packed in ballistic gel, so he can see how dangerous a heavy throwing knife actually could potentially be. But I have no idea if he actually reads all of the comments.
