It was a beautiful, terrible thing to be Zsa Zsa Gabor. One of the most stunning women of her century, Gabor wore Hollywood like a skin-tight dress, languishing in its glamour, its galas, and its dark side. Through her incredible nine marriages, she found out-and aired-some of the dirtiest laundry in Tinseltown. But that doesn’t mean she didn’t have secrets of her own…

I had the opportunity to sit next to her at 'The Daisy' on rodeo drive during lunch time. We conversed for about 45 minutes. To the best of my memory this was in 1981 or 1982. She was very personable and we discussed her rise to stardom, her marriages, Hungary, and politics. And yes she had a quit wit and was a very intelligent woman. She didn't come off as a starlet and wasn't pretentious at all. In fact she asked me a lot about my life. I'm glad I had the chance of meeting her, and enjoyed her company very much. It's something, I will never forget. All and all she was a delightful woman.

Back in the 60’s I was part of a group with Francesca Hilton that attended a high school prom held at the Beverly Hilton hotel. She was the sweetest young gal, but appalled by the role her mother Zza Zza had assigned herself as hostess. Her gown and flowing kisses were uncomfortably inappropriate for a teenage social event. I would have liked to get to know Francesca better but she was shy and withdrawn and it was not to be. Always felt she was unhappy and pressured to be something she wasn’t.

There are videos of her in bed, talking, after her leg amputation. She may have been a bit confused but not in a coma. Her daughter did not deserve to be so badly treated. Kathy's sisters (Nikki and Paris' aunts) were Kim Richards (who was a well-known child star in the 60s and 70s) and Kyle Richards (who is also a former child star and now reality TV star from Bravo's Housewives of Beverly Hills), so both Paris and Nikki know how to be in the spotlight. The Richards side of the family is just as dysfunctional as the Hiltons if you remember how Kathy, Kim, and Kyle's mother, Kathy Sr., was a stage mother and pushed her daughters to marry well. Kim was the primary breadwinner in the family during her childhood years; she made the family wealthy, and if it wasn't for her success as a child star, Kathy would not have married into the Hilton family. For many years I was shocked by what seemed to be such a callous treatment of his life. But a few years ago I became curious and did some reading and learned that he was in a profound state of depression that probably would’ve driven anyone to suicide. Zsa Zsa treated him viciously but he always forgave her and treated her like a friend. He found great happiness with the love of his life, Benita Hume, the widow of Ronald Colman. He lost her to cancer in 1967. He also lost his mother and brother all in less than two years. During that same time he discovered that his business manager, whom he had trusted for most of his career, had embezzled all of his money leaving him destitute. These problems led to a series of health problems including a stroke that left him physically handicapped. The story is detailed in a biography by his good friend,Brian Aherne. It’s entitled “A Dreadful Man”. He liked to characterize himself that way, because he played so many villains and “cads” as he liked to put it. Aherne wanted to set the record straight about Sanders and he did a very good job. The brief marriage (three weeks) to Magda is chronicled in there too. He said he was “bored”, but he was really beaten and too proud to admit it. Sorry to go on so long, but he really didn’t deserve the bum rap that he got.

Zsa Zsa Gabor was an indifferent actress who appeared mostly in terrible, trivial, forgettable low-budget B-movies. Her main pursuit during the 1960s was appearing on talk shows for no apparent reason except her bleach-blonde hair, her accent, and her fatuous conversation. She was a forerunner of the Kardashians, who have no talent to speak of and who are famous for being famous. Zsa Zsa Gabor passed from this life having contributed or achieved nothing of value to the world. She will soon be forgotten. What's more, this video contributed nothing of value and, true to form, was a sad letdown from its sensationalistic title. Time to block this channel.

The artist was Toulouse Latrec, the artist and print maker who drew, sketched and drank with the prostitutes and dancers of the Moulin Rogue, at the time those two professions were one in the same, Toulouse was from an aristocratic family however was born with a deformation of his legs rendering him both outcast from his family but a dwarf as well, this has everything to do with why the prostitutes of the Moulin Rouge were the only women he could or would sleep with, this is of course where he caught the syphilis that was his death, there are 3 movies primarily thought of when thinking of Moulin Rouge and cinematic achievements, 1928, 1956, and Baz Luhrmann's 2001 film, is that the one? The musical rendition you speak of?
