Every business environment in the US is equally polluted as the Hollywood studio system. How many young women in grad school have also found themselves at the mercy of male prof's and advisers? Young women in Med school and medicine, in law school and legal practice, even in grad school or young women in International Relations / studying or involved in diplomacy, have all been/are being treated the same way. But what really bothers me is this: look at Cara D, Rose McGowan, et al and notice HOW they are dressed. Young women are constantly called on to dress like dime hookers, none are encouraged to be even mindful of modesty, self-respect. My teenaged daughter looks at these women dressed in "fashion by pornos" and argues that she should be allowed to do so because otherwise, how can she ever be successful? I AM NOT SAYING THAT THESE WOMEN "ASKED FOR IT" by their means of dress. What I am saying is if a young woman is just TOO EAGER for stardom, predator men --and women-- will ask them for anything and expect it on a silver platter.
