Great to see an episode with Charlie Weaver, Wally Cox, Paul Lynde and Rose Marie all there.

I remember this show so often. I loved it everyday. And Paul Lynde in the center.

The big three Paul Lynde, Wally Cox and Charley Weaver. This is when the show was at it's peak. By 1975 it's only Paul Lynde trying to carry the show because Cox and Weaver both died unexpectedly.

Seven out of the Nine “Hollywood Squares” from this 1972 episode are dead. Only Shirley Jones, Sandy Duncan, and The Master, Peter Marshall remain.

Wally Cox died at age 48 a few months after this aired. Charlie Weaver passed away the following year…😪

I cannot look at Shirley Jones the same after her book about the threesome she participated in. Some things, you need to keep to yourself.

I miss the music as they describe the secret square prizes. But I was glad to see Buddy Hackett NOT AS obnoxious as he usually is. And FOUR lady stars! I don't understand why they didn't have four ladies every episode

All on the same show: Edith Bunker, Sally Rogers, Felix Unger, Shirley Partridge, Uncle Arthur and Underdog. Charley Weaver is the grandfather of all the Arquettes...including David and Rosanna.

Can you imagine famous people bothering to go on game shows now a days? Their heads are too big, imo..

Back in the 70's stars were more owned. They were on other shows that were horrible for them in terms of public perception. The only way a star would do it now is if it were for charity and they were with people of equal stardom.

They make these Secret Square questions so darn difficult and stars are supposed to help contestants win these, not trick them and cause them to lose games or prizes in these.
