I too never said shahada in front of anyone. I reserched islam from books i bought myself, so when i went to the mosque, i just wanted to know how to pray. They asked if i already gave shahada i said yes coz in my mind i had by myself. It wasn't untill years later that i needed a certificate for hajj that i formally gave shahada. Alhamdulillah.

Unless this young man has an identical twin in Canada, I believe I just saw him at a tafseer class last Friday at Masjid Darul-Iman. He was in the front row, and as he asked a question, I just couldn't help thinking there was something very special about him, Subhaanallah. Not because of how he looks, and not because he is an actor (which I didn't know until now). He just had this air of being special in a way I can't explain. I reverted a few years ago. It was like someone turned on the light. Like I was in the dark my entire life. My advice: don't ever stop praying. Don't be too strict in implementing Islam. Make istikhara before any important decision. Keep deepening your relationship with the Creator. May God guide you, bless you and light your way brother 🙏

I have a feeling that I saw this young boy in some movie show few years ago. But when I saw him few days ago and realized he reverted to Islam, I didn’t recognize him until I searched his name on goggle and found out it was him. My goodness! To be in film theatre work and so busy since the age of 6 and to be in THAT sort of evil environment and not get tainted, and even to find the time and motivation to look into religion is amazing.
