Rock n roll is pretty simple. Especially when you’re playing easy cover tunes. But that’s what makes it great. It’s straight up classic great easy to play garage band rock n roll just with high Johnny Depp bank roll budgeted gear. I never made a living with it personally. Just did it for fun playing small bars and parties between my “real” job and family life. Think it sounds sloppy great. The outfit is a little much.

I’m no big Johnny Depp fan, but I agree that the “haters” are off base slagging his musical ability. He obviously is a solid second guitarist (not going to be lead), and I don’t think that Alice Cooper or Joe Perry would be in a band with him if he wasn’t competent. They are both living legends and aren’t going to be in someone else’s vanity project. Obviously they like playing with him and consider it a worthwhile side project.

It's just as fulfilling to play at small clubs, especially if you write your own songs and have the musicians to back you up. Didn't like the guitar solo on the jack. Other than that this was a pretty enjoyable performance. Let's hope JD gets trough this rough period in one piece so he can get back on his horse again and reclaim what he has lost (at least part of it)! And i give a fuck if he smoke his joint and drinks bottles of wine every day. That don't make him a horrible husband or friend as far as can judge from the ongoing trial.
