Im glad u guys liked it! The singer Phil Bozeman is one of the godfathers of deathcore hes the goat!

this was a fun one. whitechapel are considered og's in the genre of deathcore. back in the myspace days, they really set the bar for "heaviness". and they are praised for their continued and long career.

Whitechapel is an interesting band, they been active for a long long time. They have gone from deathcore defining albums to then making a shift into more melodically heavy songs with their albums The Valley/Kin and now they have said literally "oh you think we can't go heavy? You think we lost the spark? Hold my Tennessee whiskey"

I just saw Whitechapel with Lorna Shore in Atlanta. It was right after this song came out and it was great live! Seeing them again next month in Chattanooga!

Anyone who doesn't think of Jack the Ripper and murder when they hear "Whitechapel" is very sheltered. Perfect name for a heavy band. Phil is the shit.

OH DAMN! WHITECHAPEL! I didn't know y'all reacted to them! I was WAAAY into them early 2010s or so. Same time I was listening to Job For A Cowboy and Cattle Decapitation. I definitely have eclectic taste haha

Can’t wait for that next album, even as someone who liked the Valley/Kin, they’re returning to form in the sickest way possible

Whitechapel is one of the OGs of Deathcore. Check out Possession or This is Exile for some older stuff with some more groove/breakdowns from them. They’re amazing live as well.

Phil is the OG I just saw them with Lorna Shore last month. My 16 year old son got a concussion not in the pit or the wall of death but by getting kicked in the head by a crowd surfer😂 I can laugh now because he’s ok and despite that he had a great time, I won’t be laughing when I get the hospital bill though😂

They take huge influence from three 6 mafia in the flow and enunciation and clarity with the speed. Phil has talked about it in interviews. The Saw Is The Law is something that flexes that pretty well

Hate growlers and screamers. That tells me they have no vocals to actually sing.
@richardtaylor85952 күн бұрын
I love all music as long as it is music. And the screamers are just people that have no talent.

Ok don't mess with me. This is my kind of music and A LOT OF THEM can actually sing.
@joshuacanipe76882 күн бұрын
Well then you are ignorant of facts. Lots of growlers, including this guy, can also sing cleans well. Also this type of screaming/growling takes INCREDIBLE talent. Voice scientists are even studying it now and puting scopes down their throats to see how they make these noises. Maybe open your mind and you won't be so misinformed.

a lot of the deathcore vocalists sing like angels! Will Ramos and Tom Barber both have beautiful voices!
