As Indian born outside of India, we are seen as "non Indian." This man shows that he is more Indian than many so-called "Indian born." His grandad was born to Indian parents in Kenya, Dev, born to Indain parents born in Kenya and emigrated to England. He has carried on the Indian culture that his dad and grandad passed down. There are Indians all over the globe, Africa, the Caribbean, Fiji, Indonesia, England, Australia, America, Canada, and many other countries where our Indians ancestors traveled to looking for an opportunity. We are all rooting for you, Dev. ❤

The best cast ever. I forgot that I was watching a movie, i thought that the characters were real. That´s how good they are.

Love to see how happy he is, from what I've heard he really threw himself into this film. Writing, directing, and starring in it, it's definitely something different to his previous work.

Mindless man. This british boy has formula of winning Oscars by putting bad side of India in film pleasing western stereotypes. Like "slumdog millionaire"

@@vivekbhardwaj3369He's British, born and brought up in LondonNever lived in india and it shows, thats why he always project his western fantasy about his own country, cuz that's what they teach them in that country. Britain was the epicentre of racism, sexism and class system but who cares about that, let's badmouth our own country which they know nothing about and if it pleases the Western ass, maybe they'll give em Oscar as petty validation they seek.

@@vivekbhardwaj3369he's british, born and brought up in London, never lived in India hence doesn't know a thing about his own country. Never cared to learn either. Which shows why he projects his western mindset while making movies, cuz that's what they teach there. Britain was the epicentre of extreme racism, sexism and classism, but hey who cares let's badmouth and culturally appropriate our own country which we don't even care about. And if it pleases the western a*s maybe they'll give them the petty validation they seek.

An amazing film I am still mesmerised by it wven though i watched it yesterday. Iv woken up this morning thinking about the twists and turns and the visual representations of the plot was incredible. Dev Patel you are an amazing actor, director and producer!!!
