It makes me sad that Demi was so unhappy because this is my favorite Demi era, not even just for the nostalgia aspect, but because her soaring strong soprano voice ripping through these pop rock distorted guitars is such a knock out of a sound. I hope that she is at peace enough with her past to return to some of these sounds, because they're beautiful

I feel like the boy could be a representation of addiction. The way he continuously walks in and out of the concert while she’s playing. The devilish smile. And then at the end in the dressing room when he puts his arm on her shoulder and she looks up and smiles at him, (as if representing getting high after a show) this is just my perspective looking back at this music video at 29 years old battling addiction on and off since I’m 18. (Been clean for a long time now thankfully tho) I’m not in any way saying this is what they are portraying or trying to show as a message. LYRICS I throw all of your stuff away Then I clear you out of my head I tear you out of my heart And ignore all your messages I tell everyone we got through 'Cause I'm so much better without you But it's just another pretty lie 'Cause I break down Every time you come around So how did you get here under my skin Swore that I'd never let you back in Should've known better Than trying to let you go 'Cause here we go go go again Hard as I try I know I can't quit Something about you is so addictive We're fallin' together You think that by now I'd know 'Cause here we go go go again You never know what you want And you never say what you mean But I start to go insane Every time that you look at me You only hear half of what I say And you're always showing up too late And I know that I should say goodbye But it's no use Can't be with or without you So how did you get here under my skin Swore that I'd never let you back in Should've known better Than trying to let you go 'Cause here we go go go again Hard as I try I know I can't quit Something about you is so addictive We're fallin' together You think that by now I'd know 'Cause here we go go go again And again and again and again I threw all of your stuff away And I cleared you out of my head And I tore you out of my heart So how did you get here under my skin Swore that I'd never let you back in Should've known better Than trying to let you go 'Cause here we go go go again Hard as I try I know I can't quit Something about you is so addictive We're fallin' together You think that by now I'd know 'Cause here we go go Here we go again Here we go again Should've known better Than trying to let you go 'Cause here we go go go again Again and again and again and again

I know she is stronger and healthier now, and that's amazing, I admire her for all she has been through. But, we all know her music is better in that time than now. I loved her because she wasn't a silly girl, and she rocked out in her songs. I still love her, but i miss the way she sang, danced, and the energy she made me feel with her songs. The feeling to break something Hhaha.

Am I the only one who listens to this now, and hears a metaphor for drug use? “I throw all of your stuff away, then I cleared you out of my head.” “I tell everyone we are through, cause I’m so much better without you.” “And I know that I should say goodbye but it’s no use. I can’t be with or without you.” “How did you get here under my skin? Swore that I’d never let you back in.” “Should’ve known better than trying to let you go, cause here we go, go, go again.” “Hard as I try I know I can’t quit. Something about you is so addictive.”

I throw all of your stuff away Eu jogo todas as suas coisas fora Then I clear you out of my head Então eu te apago da minha mente I tear you out of my heart Eu te arranco do meu coração And ignore all your messages E ignoro todas as suas mensagens I tell everyone we are through Eu digo para todos que terminamos 'Cause I'm so much better without you Porque eu fico muito melhor sem você But it's just another pretty lie Mas isso é só outra grande mentira 'Cause I break down Porque eu desmorono Every time you come around Toda vez que você chega perto Uh oh, uh oh Uh oh, uh oh So how did you get here under my skin? Então como você chegou aqui, debaixo da minha pele? Swore that I'd never let you back in Jurei que eu nunca mais te deixaria voltar Should've known better Deveria ter sido mais esperta Than trying to let you go Ao invés de tentar te largar 'Cause here we go, go, go again Porque aqui vamos, vamos, vamos nós de novo Hard as I try I know I can't quit Por mais que eu tente, sei que não posso fugir Something about you is so addictive Alguma coisa em você é tão viciante We're falling together Estamos nos apaixonando ao mesmo tempo You think that by now I'd know Você acha que a essa altura eu saberia 'Cause here we go, go, go again Porque aqui vamos, vamos, vamos nós de novo You never know what you want Você nunca sabe o que quer And you never say what you mean E você nunca diz o que quer dizer But I start to go insane Mas eu começo a ficar louca Every time that you look at me Toda vez que você me olha You only hear half of what I say Você só escuta metade do que eu digo And you're always showing up too late E você sempre aparece atrasado And I know that I should say goodbye E eu sei que deveria dizer adeus But it's no use Mas não adianta Can't be with or without you Não fico com ou sem você Uh oh, uh oh Uh oh, uh oh So how did you get here under my skin?
