@radamyin3 жыл бұрын
Yes, he did, I actually watched the movie few days ago. Sherlock is asked to be a father of a famous ballerina's child, because she wants baby to be as beautiful as her, but as smart as him. He didn't know how to reject the offer, so he said this, that he's with Watson. It is increadibly funny and interesting movie; Moffat and Gatiss said that A Scandal in Belgravia, besides being inspired by a story is also inspired by this movie, in a way.

@@isabellebrant6057 Robert Stevens HATED playing this role - he couldn't abide the directing of Billy Wilder, who wanted everything to be done "perfectly". He didn't care if he had to do 50 takes to get his shot, or if he scrapped tons of film. He apparently directs down to the last eyelash. Now it might have had something to do with the trials of his home life, at this point Maggie Smith and the children were in the country, and he had to come home alone - and it may have had something to do with Stevens' love of stage acting, where you do it live and deal with the consequences, but he began to dread leaving at 6 am, working 12 hours, then coming home to cook and learn his lines. Again, the lines had to be perfect, because Wilder knew what he wanted and he wanted every word that he had written. So he took a bottle of whiskey and enough sleeping pills to kill himself, and simply "drifted away from everything while watching the television". Fortunately, he was found by the studio the next morning and his crisis held up filming for about 2-3 weeks. This is all from the actor's own reports, as published in his autobiography "Knight Errant: Memoirs of a Vagabond Actor".
