@@jesusortiz8666 and they called the one play that could result in a big loss of yards and take them away from starting at the 1 yard line lol. And how about kicking a freaking FG? We would have no attempted the 2 points in the first TD, then we would actually have a shot at the end. There are so many dumb coaching moments every single game. He wasted a 2nd down play in the fg drive with a cutsy play. Those yards costed an wasier FG for Cairo. Having Kmet blocking their edge on the fucking first attempt after you scored a TD. Kmet wiffing an edge last week apparently didn't teach them anything.

Rome looked great. Caleb continuing to develop and showing signs with some nice feather touch and some 35 yard passes. Third game in the league. It’s easier for me because I wasn’t saying that they were going to win 12 games and he was gonna light the world on fire immediately. He’s a rookie quarterback who is developing and I’m enjoying watching the development because I know what it is. I’m an old football junkie, who watched people like Manning, Troy, and many many others from back in the day and what their first year look like. Take a look at Baker… look how he is playing now. Take a look at his first two years. This is Caleb’s third game. Go take a look at Strouds first six games last year. Not minding the process at all but not a delusional Bears fan. I’m realistic Bears fan. That said Shayne Waldron did not to have any favors today or the first two games. Furthermore, Roshan Johnson needs to be featured more as he has more explosiveness than Swift. He runs harder and does not go down as easily on first contact. Reminds me more of a Thomas Jones one cut running back that gets up field. You need to be using that kid more and taking less off Caleb’s shoulders. Regardless, I continue to enjoy watching this kid develop… Yes, the results in the loss was a disaster but that’s OK. I’m cool with it. The season is not over and I remain entertained. Extremely frustrating game planning on the offensive of side of the ball. Fall start after forcing the three and out: brutal. Sequence of calls from the deep red zone Possession in the first half was one of the worst I’ve ever seen. When you’re trying to run on first in five, why do you use the pistol formation and completely take out any other possibility other than Swift running the ball? Everyone can tee off they know he’s not going to throw it down there let’s be real. Then to go spread and run to the weak side of the line after your starting left tackle is already injured on fourth and a half a yard is an excusable. Truly one of the worst play calls I’ve seen in a lifetime of watching far too much football. Toss option from the shotgun, rather than having Johnson get a whole head of steam coming from 6 yards back and taking the ball under center and having the momentum of a violent runner carrying the ball a half a yard forward come on man. Brutal. Go Bears

If you could rely on your run even a little bit you would of won today easy. Throwing for 360 yards is where it starts and ends, keep doing it, a Sam Howell yardage season, who cares about 20 Ints. Being on pace for 4000 yards any stretch, you throw 2000 yards in a 9-game stretch. The 4 wins probably will get the coaches fired, having less passing yards than Fields & Co last year would be an even bigger disaster than 4 wins and flushing the coaches. This is patient ownership, and they show 2nd half improvement and exceed last year's passing yards they probably will get another year, they would have to do better than 0-6 in division, those 6 games will be some of their toughest and will have to improve to win any.

Eberflus is a very good coach. Bears fans blame everybody except the real problem: the QB. "The receivers are lousy." "The coach is awful." " The O-Line is to blame." Pro Football Focus had the Bears O-line last year as one of the better ones. But fans and media blamed everyone except Justin Fields. Now we have a QB who holds the ball LONGER than Fields. We have three top notch receivers. We have top notch running backs. The problem is that when you have a QB who cannot read a defense quickly, then the defense stacks the line and takes away the run, they pressure the QB, and the offense sputters. THIS is the Bears' offensive problem. It is called "Caleb Williams."

The issue is whether the clearly superior talent of C Williams can succeed in spite of terrible line play and woeful coaching. Is Waldron on drugs or did he somehow get the job because he is a long lost love child of someone in the family of ownership. His play calling was so bad I could tell from the formation what the play was and the general direction of the play. . What happened to the run which the coaches said would be the centerpiece of the game plan. Poor C Williams throws 51 times. If I were the owner the head coach and OC would be fired tomorrow am, I am not a Bears fan but am a fan of a well known NFC East team. Of were a Bear fan I’d be apoplectic P

Rome isn't a problem. He's a victim of Poles and his lack of building the right roster along with bad coaching hires. All of this is on Poles.

The bears are a mess and will continue to be under this ownership/coaching. I do believe Poles has done some good things to improve the team. But they are still a year or two away from being a contender.

Lol Caleb doesn’t see the field and his ball placement is terrible. He can’t throw a deep ball on point to save his life. He holds the ball way too long. He is a super duper bust… 😂
