I saw on another channel where the artist put down the clear gel and laid the foil into the wet polish. Cured the whole situation together. When cured she pulled the backing off. Maybe give that a whirl. It was one of those diamond nail video.

Whenever I use the UNT peel off base coat, my polish pops off TOO easily. I tried applying it in a thin coat but that didn't seem to help. Do I need to somehow prep my nails before applying the peel off base coat? HAAAAAALP!!!!!!

I find that if you use essie basecoat, it works quite well too if you can't get yellow stopper it's a great alternative

twi_star the grow stronger base coat is the one I use but they have multiple ones you can try, grow stronger I feel could be the tackiest but then again haven't tried them all 🤷🏽‍♀️

Stupid questions are as follows: Can you use yellowstopper for the holo foil? Also, I have a bit similar foil but since the backing is clear I can never tell which side is 'up'. Any tips? Is there any concern in the nail world about the effect of UV light on the skin of the hands?

Angel, how long do your nails last with regular base, regular polish AND gel top-coat? i've recently started doing gel cause of my work, but my color pallette is too limited for now :) so i've been meanin to try regular polish with gel base and top, but something stops me. must be the lack of guru info.

I find that they last about a week on me maybe a little more! And it's a good way to get the gel look but with regular polish!

Apparently, to get around the top coat issue, you can use Unt peel off over the holo goodness and then go in with the glossy taco. Can't remember where I saw it though.

I find the foil sticks better if I use a cotton pad or qtip to rub the foils on the nails instead of smooshing with the stamper.

I just stumbled upon this video today, so forgive me for being late to the party lol....I'm a little confused. I love the look. These nails are beautiful! But, the glitters...they don't look holo to me. The purple one for example, I see pink and purple but I don't see the full rainbow which is what I thought holo meant? same for the rest, they reflect a couple of colors, but not the full rainbow.
