I read about the Holocaust when I was young. My parents showed me documentaries about the II World War. I will never forget and I made sure to transmit this to my son. My granddaughter is now 11 years old and she is starting to learn about the Holocaust. We will not forget.

Be of good courage Rae. You are speaking their names - their memories will live on forever. God bless you. You are a true example of courage.

I'm so proud to be named after a Holocaust who was rescued by an Army officer. Her name was Patricia Anneliese. She drove my mom to the hospital the night I was born in Fairbanks Alaska. She drove my mom to the hospital the night I was born. I will honor her for the rest of my life. I'm currently 68 years old.

As a history professor I felt a sense of responsibility to explain to people why this Holocaust Remembrance Day is different than all others. So, I made a short video and included many resources for people to learn more about the Holocaust. Soon the entire generation of survivors will be gone. Now is the time to learn the lessons of the past.

Why is this one different than all others?
@robyncollopy1645Ай бұрын
There is antisemitism because of the brutal attacks on the Jewish people on October 7th 2023! Because Israel is fighting for their lives and hostages.

When I was in 7th grade I used to think the Nazis were cool - but then I read a book called the White Rabbit (I think) about an English spy in France and what he went through when he was captured by the gestapo. That was when I changed to reality of what they were. The next summer I met 2 Danish boys that were in a concentration camp for two years because they could sing and clean tables in the noncom dinning room. Please remember and never let anything like that happen ever again. God bless you.
