What an inspirational Women I was watching from Australia and was driven to tears by her eloquent account of what she and her family endured, absolutely devestating. Hearing her recollection with such emotion and clarity was the first time we actually understood the atrocities committed of that terrible period in our history, full respect to her and her family.

Horrible! What happened in Europe at the time was bad. World history shows similar events happened to one degree or another. Question. When Hitler became chancler and got the enabling act did the majority of population in Germany and the rest of the world realize that he was an actual dictator or did they choose to ignore it? Also today theres alot if demogagic language out there directed not just to the Jewish but to other groups of people as well. It seems to me a lot of people hear the message from the survivors and unfortunately theres a lot of people who don't want to hear it and is willing to believe in propaganda of lies and half truths. What else should be done in your opinion to stop these things from happening again?

@@populistpod I mean, I'm sure those Russians were invited, but they are probably dead. The current day banned Russians didn't liberate Auschwitz because they where likely not born yet or children. We don't share credit for past victories simply because we were born in the same part of the planet.
