Just so you know, KZbin has started adding long midroll ads in the middle of videos unless you manually disable it. If you placed them there intentionally I don't mind at all. But I though I should say something just in case you didn't know.

Firefighters do in fact do live training exercises where they deliberately set a condemned building on fire and try to put it out. You can't do this on demand, however, since you have to wait for a building that is to be demolished and is a safe distance from others. I remember watching one once where they simulated a gas leak by filling the building with gas. Unfortunately they put too much gas in it and the explosion put the fire out before it could start. Despite trying to vent some of the gas beforehand by breaking out a few windows first, the shrapnel damaged houses more than 100 yards away. Luckily, everyone in my family wears glasses.

I periodically have to do fire fighting training as part of the survival training for offshore work. The practical portions consist of suiting up in actual bunker gear and SCBA system, laying out hoses and fighting actual fires in a mock installation as a team. Granted what you displayed was only a few seconds of preview, but I certainly don't see it replacing that training. That being said, I imagine the VR system is far cheaper than the current practical training, it might make for good supplemental training given that the current practical retraining is usually performed 3 to 5 years apart.

Imagine the potential for Theia: Some sort of AI connected to a camera that could warn of dangers like edges and cars... could very easily be life changing for those who need it... even simple things like telling/counting bills (some are easy due to size but some currency is harder..) and coins... could also take it one step further and store people’s photos (locally for security concerns..) to tell them who it is and such. Fascinating.

I've never done the YT memberships thing. I do support a bunch of people on patreon though, and this would be perfect for that platform. It also allows for a really nice platform to share bts stuff that's not just videos. I also know some creators bounce ideas around in their patreon and get feedback in comments for future projects. Not sure how the fees and whatnot compare.

What I'm pretty scare off is by all the systems that are capable to copy some of our bio metrical info, like voice for example. Or systems that are capable to add or remove media during live streaming broadcasts. This could be used to "troll" the masses that are unaware of this kind of technology, specially during politics campaigns in under developed countries like mine lol.
