I've gotten to the point where I treat spam like a chat mini game where I try to block and report as fast as possible, also they're mostly gibberish since it's mostly Chinese anti's pretending to be Japanese and English fans and they clearly don't understand either language.

Hololove would have to invest into having mods on most of their channels at some point. Coco situation clearly showed that KZbin is fucking incompetent with their own chat anyway.

It seems they do have mods when the spam is in JP and they're super super quick but when it's in EN their efficiency drops also KZbin has added a "must be subscribed for x amount of time to talk" feature, bit late but whatever it's useful for the bot spam if used correctly

Mods won't solve the core problem though. KZbin needs to implement their anti spam fix on all Holo members (like they did for Kaichou).. And yes, it does work seeing how the moment Kaichou had it implement, not a single spam could be seen after.

@@Skelyos From what i've heard, it's still an experimental feature that is available for only a number of channels (the same with the whole "clips" thingy), and god knows KZbin takes their time implementing something for everyone. So, it's a start, but the entirety of YT community would die in a nuclear apocalypse before this feature is implemented for everybody

Notice how Kaichou's streams later on were free of antis even though non-members can comment, and that's because at some point KZbin finally stepped in (idk exactly how). But that took months I think. So hurry up KZbin...

The mods I’ve seen do a really good job but some spam are sent in kind of an advanced way where even if I block it, another message appears instantly like it’s rotating. Hard to explain but all in all, the spam is getting harder to control because of the method the spammer uses

For those who haven't caught the news: the old spammers /antis have been harrassing mainly fubuki's streams with robots just because fubuki supported coco a lot and since coco has sadly graduated, they turned to fubuki's streams spreading hate speeches and fake news. And if anyone who see this post, plz help us report those rebots (just report, no fight, no spam). Usually, if you see some non-members type the same thing over and over regardless the language they use, there's ahigh chance that they're antis.(or you can us translator)

They are not japanese. Mostly chinese bots attempting to sabotage the trust between Japanese fans and the Hololive members by writing in japanese. If you want to force YT to do something, not only report the spammers but also use the Send Feedback chat function by clicking the vertical “…” and ask for better anti-spam tools (maybe even suggest countermeasures). Flood YT’s feedback feature in order to make them notice that their spam detection is awful. The more we do it, the more they’ll feel the pressure.

I just got into the hololive thing by watching some clips and I know practically nothing about these girls and their coumminities despite knowing they've been around for a couple years. However, even knowing too little, I came to know what happened to Coco and how this seems to have affected her workmates and friends in an emotional matter and it really touched me despite not being acquainted to this hololive thing. That said, I congratulate you for giving so much support to Coco until her departure and for supporting the remaining girls during these, what I think, are hard times for them. Stay strong, hololive community, teach those scum haters a lesson.

Coco had more things going on other than “that” situation so I don’t think they have any influence anymore. Fubuki has shown on her streams that she doesn’t give a damn about the spammers and only focuses on us. So I’m not worried, and you guys shouldn’t be either cause the spammers have no more power.
