Erm ACKTUALLY, focusing on one amino acid found in tea and its pathway is a terrible argument. There are so many different pathways that the many molecules of tea and coffee go through that Fauna's suspiciously ChatGPT-like response is entirely unhelpful to making a decision. Many fake health professionals use similar tactics to fearmonger their followers out of eating specific foods, like vegetables, fruits, meat, etc. While the pathway may be interesting, you cannot draw any meaningful conclusions from it. Only high quality, double blind human trials with lots of participants can help one draw conclusions on health. Fauna did not cite any. This is magnified by the fact that Fauna (or ChatGPT idk) did not mention to which extent L-Theanine benefits blood pressure/alpha brain waves. Based on her argument, L-Theanine could have anywhere from a negligible effect on blood pressure/alpha brain waves to a massive effect. Additionally, simply taking L-Theanine as a supplement with your coffee could produce better effects, as L-Theanine in green tea (Fauna IS green, after all) is a measly 8 mg, while taking a supplement could get you 400 mg of it. Simply swallow the pill with coffee, and you get the L-Theanine of 50 cups of green tea. Additionally, L-Theanine might won't even be helpful if you don't have trouble with blood pressure. So whether or not Fauna was correct, she did not construct good or strong arguments for the efficacy of drinking tea. Btw I agree with her, tea is way better than coffee. what am i doing with my life

Erm ACKTUALLY, Fauna's supiciously Chat-GPT like argument was not a good one. She focused all her attention in one singular amino acid that is found in tea, while there are numerous other important molecules that activate different pathways in tea. Detailed scientific reasoning includes citing numerous high quality studies, which she didn't do. Her logic was not sound, either, as green tea only has 8 mg of L-Theanine in it, and you can take a supplement containing 400 mg of it if you have trouble with high blood pressure. This is also why her health reasons are dubious, you might not need the L-Theanine and the amount of it is so small that if you actually needed it, that it would be nowhere near the dosage you need. 🤓🤓🤓🤓🤓🤓🤓🤓🤓🤓🤓🤓 So ACKTUALLY, Fauna gave a reason why Green Tea is good for you with no facts, poor logic, and dubious health reasons. Btw tea is good for u and tastes really really good you should drink it. L-Theanine isn't the reason why it's healthy though.
