Some extra info about this video - 1st of all, if you haven't yet, I highly recommend watching the other 2 videos featuring Aqua's Underground Empire for context (and enjoyment!) - Aqua used the mining buff to clear the bottom surface of the Underground Empire, though she didn't clear it entirely; I didn't clip that because it'd be pretty lame, just she breaking stone (Fubuki: "hold my void glasses") - Aqua didn't use any TNT on this stream otherwise I would've clipped it - Sometimes she talks too fast and the translation becomes too long for too little time to read, since spoken informal Japanese omits a lot of things that in English can't be omitted, making the translation much longer than the Japanese version; I can't do anything about that, unless I made the subs de-sync from she talking or shorten a lot the translation text, two things that I don't want to make because they would overall lower the quality of the video In case you don't know it yet, I'm holoyume; this is my personal account, brand one is bugged and can't comment lol

Can someone explain why she was going to make it bigger but didn’t? And exactly how the beacons work, is it the bigger you make it the larger area is works in or something?

the biggest you can make it (for maximum buff) is having a base of 9x9 blocks, followed by the next layer of 7x7, then 5x5, then 3x3. She didn't make 9x9 because she didn't have enough materials for it. Basically you need to make the entire thing out of either iron, gold, emerald, or diamond blocks.

@@reaperherpderp7782 There's no explanation on why she didn't, as far as I know she didn't talk about that again; but I guess she wants to make something on this hole first and then move onto another and so on until making the 4 parts that she mentioned (just my guessing). Adding to what I love 草 said, the bigger you make the Beacon platform the more buffs you have access to (she couldn't get the Regeneration buff because the platform needs to be 9x9 to do so, she did it 7x7). And as for that fantasy about load-testing the server, I've read somewhere that Hololive "upgraded" the hosting for the Minecraft server so that it doesn't lag as much as it did, so she wanted to test its new "limits" by exploding lots of TNT. But after all, she didn't try it. However, she already used quite a bunch of TNT in the previous Underground Empire episode and the server resisted just fine
