in southern Oklahoma we call that "noodlin" it takes a certain type person to reach in a hole and have a huge catfish bite down on your hand.

Catfish is probably nesting honestly. To noodle a fish you must move very very slowly into the mouth or gills . Good stuff doods thanks for sharing

There is NO WAY I would try to catch those cats by hand. I have been stung and bit by cats smaller than that and it hurts like the dikkens! 😮 That golden trout….😮😮😮😮 beautiful! Glad you set it back in the creek. So pretty.

I couldn’t get my hand anywhere near its mouth or tail to quick and strong of a fish. Was fun trying and watching trav try though. Didn’t think I could catch a trout barehanded but I sure did and so did Trav the day before with will but they didn’t have a camera with them. Really neat sharing those experiences with my son. Appreciate you

Called a Golden Trout they are part rainbow and part something else but yes extremely pretty. Was awesome to grab it up after chasing it into shallower water with trav 😆

Called a golden trout sister lady they stock him in the local streams around here. Never caught one with my hands before though. That was fun.
