Since your reactions are so good and i'm super passionate about Lorna Shore, let me go deep with some suggestions: - since you're so impressed with will ramos vocals, from now on if a song has a "one take vocal performance" on will ramos official channel, watch that, not the official video, trust me! will has done basically all their most famous songs (apart the pain remains trilogy and older ones) and i swear, every single one take he did is just SO MUCH better than the original track. you can hear instrumental just as good as the original track, but you can hear will ramos "live" voice which is insane. - can you believe me if i tell you that to the hellfire and sun eater aren't even their heaviest songs? imho "into the earth" is the heaviest followed by "of the abyss". Oh, will ramos cover of "recreant" and "prey for plague" are pretty fucking heavy too. - watch "and i return to nothingness" and "cursed to die" for something more melodic (but still heavy) - check out will ramos covers of sleep token "hypnosis" and "chokehold", you will hear something quite surprising, even more surprising if you don't know sleep token. - every other lorna shore song i didn't mentioned came from a time when will ramos didn't joined the band yet, but on the sirius XM channel i truly suggest to check the 34 minutes of live music they did for them, the last three songs of those 34 minutes are older lorna shore songs but with will ramos. "king ov deception" imho in particular is fucking incredible. i'm quite excited for next lorna shore reactions, sorry if i've write so much and possibly made some mistakes (english is not my native language)

Hell yeah, more Lorna. My deeper cut recommendations for this album would be 'Wrath' and 'Apotheosis'. They don't get enough love IMO. The trilogy is great and Sleeper hits hard early, but these are worth checking out. I've got Lorna recommendations all the way back to their earliest stuff too if we ever dip into some of that.

It really showcases how insanely different symphonic bands can sound, despite being in the same subgenre. @@dicodecOh boy 🔥🥹 Not sure what it is about watching people react to Lorna but many of us just can’t seem to get enough lol thank you!! I think the newest ones are on Lorna’s YT now (many others are on Will’s personal channel; which I also recommend his take on Chelsea Grin’s “Recreant”) but the newest was “Sun Eater” and I think “Cursed To Die”. Tbh all of the one takes are super fun and worth checking out, reaction vid or not! For me, the vocals being more forward and the lack of layering (or minimal if there is) really provides a better vocal experience, I LOVE the albums but my favorite way to listen is his one takes. He always does parts a bit differently than the album versions too as he would live. The instrumental playthroughs from the other members are also incredible! Anyway thank you for the reply and for these unique reaction/breakdowns, and thank you YT algorithms for bringing me to your channel recently 🎉

As a guy who doesn't really dig the "cores" this album is excellent from start to finish. Lorna has a sound that really resonated with me. I also like their previous album(different singer). I love your breakdown of the music. Your analyses make for better listening. Cheers. Can't wait for the trilogy. However I will say I think the less pauses and isolation and analysis the better, because it is so captivating and may ruin the experience .... it will blow you away

Lorna shore is great, but other bands like brand of sacrifice are worth checking out. Also, Lorna is fucking S tier, but they aren’t the only, nor the first band to sound like this. Shadow of intent honestly probably does it better overall.

LOL, "I did not see that coming". What someone says that hasn't heard these guys in the last year. It's all the same. That dead super-fast drumming with an Ogre singing as fast as she can. The relentless pace and skill of the vocalist makes you think this is quality. It's like acid jazz...lets just do as much as we can everywhere to overwhelm the senses and it'll seem like the best music. I feel like this music is just for other musicians to geek over, but i'm still trying to find a groove, something I can bang to, something that isn't comically over-the-top. Id think this group are top-tier musicians, but like I mentioned earlier, it's like everyone does a solo and it's supposed to be one piece. Good reaction, and I can only assume by the Interwebs that this is the best music ever.
