Really sweet car! When I was growing up it wasn't uncommon to see older Fords with Chrysler drive trains in them. My older brother's best friend had a hot rod Ford with a 340 6 pack in it. That was in the late 70's. The paint job I instantly associated with the 60's. Really like the paint job and the quality of it.

Again so much fun to watch. For sure this work of art on wheels, but also Nicole’s enthusiasm is what this show is all about. And great to see the creator of this beast enjoying every moment of this ride. Proud as a mom about her baby, and well, he should be. Epic🙌🙌

Nicole, you do such a great job as host. You let the builder or owner and the car be the star. Such a thrill to go for a ride in this car! I was grinning as much as you! Thanks to Coby and Bill for letting this happen!

Thank you, this was a special build for sure with all of us losing our dads along the process... but we're hoping they're all smiling down on us right now!

Thank you! Dad asked every day if the car was done right up until his passing.

Always the best content!! Why hasn’t Discovery or TLC given The Detour a series?? Get it together people. Omg I’m sure Bill did not expect to have so much fun in that passenger seat. He was like a kid on a roller coaster and couldn’t stop smiling.❤❤ The energy was infectious thanks 😊😊
