Thirumeni sounds Arabic Quran reading! wonderful! I love it. 0:33:20 "yaachikendum samayamitha" excellent music, may be few malayalees know that the background music is very similar to Johan Strauss Blue Danube waltz II, please check this you-tube track "James Last Blue Danube Waltz Johan Strauss .wmv" which I have uploaded, James Last collection. The Occasion should have been "anuthaapam" but it was not.

Yes we are using Aramic Language,which was spoken by Jesus christ .So everyone should feel proud on this Syrian orthodox church.No other church can;t take this credit.Just think we are still using that old "Thaksa" for qurbana...

There is nothing disappointing about that. This church is an arch-diocese of the Universal Syriac Orthodox Church of Antioch, which follows the West Syrian Rite, hence they use the official liturgical language Western Syriac. It may be disappointing to you, but certainly not disappointing to us!

Arabic (Syriac) modulated holy Qurbana by Osthatheos Thirumeni is outstanding, voice control is immaculate and there is no comparison. I heared him in Lebanon supported by original Syrian Choir sung by Lebanoni girls. Though they were singing in Syriac I was able to cope up with Malayalam liturgy. Feeling sorry for the poor video quality and not up to the mark choir support of this video.
