I give Ribalta credit for not going down permanentely but Ribalta was several times half groggy and close to loose consciousness but never managed to stunn Tyson. I think the Referee has stopped the fight to early and i'm also convinct had the referee not stopp the fight Mike Tyson would have massacred Ribalta...i was boxing 25 years from age 12 until 37 and despite i never was a Pro', i understand boxing and the danger of such blows against the head and body...just listen, you can hear the power of Tyson's punches....

This is such a ridiculous video. There should be a companion video of this sbout when giants destroyed Mike Tyson. Tyson holds the record after all for being knocked out more times than any man to have ever held the heavyweight championship. Knocking out a 38 year old Larry Holmes Is no more a feather in his cap than it was when Marciano knocked out an aged Joe Lewis. The myth of Mike Tyson as one of the all-time greats is without question a product of the KZbin and tick tock generation. The facts are that Mike Tyson got completely destoyed by every great heavyweight he ever faught. He never even went the distance in any of those fights. And by the way I don't know who edited this ridiculous film, but it is NOT true that Holmes had never been knocked down. Unlike the fragile Mike Tyson Larry Holmes had been knocked down a couple of times in his career and had always risen to win. Ernie Shavers for one knocked him down.
