Lewis was the ultimate fighter. Diets, training methods and fight plans were at their highest standard during this period. No modern fighter, like Fury, would stand a chance. Fighting isn't like the Olympics where things improve and results get better..

@@htechdance Usyk wouldn't last 5 rounds with Lewis, Lewis was a better boxer and packed the kind of power only one modern HW knows about, and he wouldn't last 3 against Lewis, Dubois wouldn't get past 8. Fury might try to smother him to go the distance but is massively outclassed by Lewis as both a boxer and a puncher, not to mention as an athlete. And do you know which types of fighters Lewis found easiest to KO? The ones taller than himself. And as for Poundland Lennox, Anthony Joshua, boy would he get exposed. David Haye summed it up when he said, in every fight I had I fancied my chances but if I'd gone in with Lewis I don't know what I could have done, I'd try but inside I knew that I couldn't win.

Just another fighter coming up against Lewis and going down just the way Lewis has planned.. Lewis was,and is, very smart and beating him became an impossibility as Lewis became more experienced and stronger. Lennox only retired because there was no one left to fight....and that he wanted to avoid the 'Bum of the Month' fights as he used to say.... The US commentator must have been watching a different fight to me as the American was never in it after round one. By the end, he was battered, tired and unable to deal with the Lewis jab. At this point, wise corners throw the towel in before their fighter gets seriously hurt. Luckily, Lewis was a compassionate fighter who didn't want to hurt an opponent, seriously..
