Jami, I noticed that Voodoo was kind of squinting. Because he's a light color horse and the color of his eyes, he's apparently sensitive. As the farrier alluded to about his sensitive eyes that the protection masks be put on him and if he doesn't like wearing it, someone suggested using eye-black, AKA, black mascara around his eyelids to protect against sun glare. The look in his eyes says he's not feeling well. Poor baby. Sending prayers his way that he beats this thing and get better. 🙏🏼 ✝️ ❤️🐎

Good advice on toe nails. However, Voo has no concept of socks or toes and has his nails seen to on a regular basis. As such, he deserved a treat for being so patient with the nursing and the lecture. Such a good boy. 💙💙💙💙

Loved the life lessons, I wish every month would teach not just the boys but also the girls about taking care of their feet and toenails and basic hygiene. There’s nothing worse than seeing people in flip flops or sandals and seeing their nasty dirty black feet and disgusting,, as you lake to say Jami, JAINKY,, toenails. I’ll stop there, because I could elaborate more on the subject of cleanliness, but I won’t. I too, have been really poor at times, and whatever I had and where lived, I myself and where I lived was spick and span, and I was proud of it. I also have to tell you that I love the job that Jake is doing on the sanctuary now that he’s there full time. Great idea to hire him full time. I love the way all the animals love and trust you. Jamie, I totally agree with you about matching socks and good grooming!! I wonder how I fit into that!! I’m a 75 year old gal, who loves to knit socks. The thing is that much of the yarn is self-patterning, and I purposely don’t want to have the patterns match on the second sock. I get a kick out of “fraternal” instead of “identical” twin socks!! A little quirkiness in an otherwise matching life!! (It’s the same yarn, but with the pattern in a different place on the second sock.). Not an earth-shattering observation, but thought I’d share! Jami when I was a senior in high school, I was in a very bad motorcycle accident. They told my family that I had to have my leg amputated. Well Mommy and my Aunt were washing the dirt from the road off of me, Mommy noticed my underwear. When I woke a week later from a drug induced coma with my leg still attached, she told me she was proud of me for having clean underwear on. It was the first time she had ever told me that she was proud of me. I am laughing as I type this. It is funny to me now. As far as the holes in the socks go, I can't stand that or nasty stinky feet either. It's so disgusting to me. And being poor is no excuse for being nasty. We were poor, we had to carry water because we didn't have running water in the house, but we were clean and so were our clothes. I tell my son to always take care of his feet and they will take care of him. Voo looks like he feels bad, poor guy. That foot must be really bothering him. I know you are doing everything you can to help him heal. God bless you Jami, I honestly don't know what Lester and the fur and feather babies would do without you. You are a true treasure.

Aaaw Jami. Jip life lesson. For woman and men. I was taught by my Mom. After a hard day's work have a bath or shower and when you get into bed you feel clean. When you wake up the next morning you had a good night's rest and you are good to go. Always wear clean underwear and clothes. Always make sure your house is in order before you leave home. 🤗 I've had 5 kids 2 girls and 3 boys, they are all grown up now and out of the house. I was a full time Mom and worked hard. Always made sure I was a good Mom and taught my kids to be responsible, respectful and helpful. As well be clean on yourself and your house /flat where ever you stay. We didn't have much money but we had a roof over our head and food in our tummies and clean clothes. 👍😍 Voodoo is so calm with you. It's your calmness of your voice. All the babies are calm with you ♥️

This is a true life lesson! Always wear clean socks and underwear! Don’t wear embarrassing underwear! Jami girl I had underwear that said text me across the back in glittery letters. I wore them one day I ended up having to go to the doctor and having a procedure done I had those underwear on I had to lay on my stomach for a procedure. The whole procedure my bum was telling them to text me in glittery letters as they were doing the procedure. As I was thinking the whole time in embarrassment oh my goodness! Love this video. I hope Voodoos foot gets better soon. 💜
