Love the last bit "red carpet" sarcasm. Looking forward to seeing the movie soon. Congratulations!

My respect for the director for being so brave and making such an illuminating movie about Iran. I'm from Iran and I know how closely it corresponds to the reality of my country.

This movie criminalises every Iranian. It is the epitome of islamophobia. Not a single character is likeable or honest or life- loving in Mr. Abbasi's movie. He himself said in an interview that he is talking not about a person but a culture of serial killers. Criminalizing a Nation because of one person's actions, is despicable. I am interested to know who funded this project. There are rumors that the Mujahedin-e-Khalq (MEK) financially supported this movie. They are the organization that attacked Iran along with Sadam Hussain. MEK is a terrorist outfit.

To enhance his directing abilities, I suggest Ali Abbassi work or study with Asgar Farhadi.

I'm just wondering why in this movie you're trying to humiliate Iranians? Why you make a false reputation of Iranian culture? I'm sure these things happen in your country. Why don't you make a movie about that?

Mr. Abbasi has said: “My intention was not to make a serial killer movie but a movie about a serial killer society”. He is shamelessly saying that Iranian society is a "mass killer society"! What a disgrace! In the USA, every day, 100 people are shot to death by gun violence and 200 more are injured. Nobody calls America a "mass killer society". There are 400, 000,000 guns in circulation in USA. If there is a "mass killer society" anywhere, it would be the USA, not Iran. To criminalize an entire society because of the actions of a few, is shortsighted and downright stupid. Mr. Abbasi is defending a racist stand when he calls the Iranian society a "mass killer society". Mr. Abbasi should be shamed and shunned. If he called the western societies "mass killer societies", it would be more fitting because they produce massive amounts of weaponry and they also sell it to the entire globe. Western societies make massive profit out of murdering people and destroying our planet. If there was a "mass killer society" anywhere, it would be the USA and Europe, not Iran. If Mr. Abbasi made a movie about the daily mass killings in the USA and called USA a "mass killer society", I am sure he would NOT be so well received. Shame on Mr. Abbasi and those who ignore his racist message in this awful movie and give him an "attaboy" for his shitty movie.

My friend, i didnt take his words that way. I think he just meant to say that he is showing the life the society around a serial killer he is not saying all Iranians are serial killers.

@@Dead.scream Thank you, you are kind. But Mr. Abbasi literally said it. And the entire Iranian Nation heard him say they are a nation of serial killers. Countless articles were published expressing horror at Mr. Abbasi. He has said nothing to recognize and / or apologize for a potential misunderstanding. He fits the definition of a racist.

@@mozhgansavabieasfahani4875 if thats what he said then you are right did he say this in this video ? Because in this case i missed that part or was it in another interview ? I appreciate your response ♥️

He's talking about how the religious fundamentalism in Iran has created a society in which misogyny thrives, so much so that people were actively supporting the serial killers murders in 2001. Watch the film before you talk, clown.

How could you say Iranian women are more powerful! Iranian women aren't allowed even to choose what to wear! Iranian women are treated like objects, a Iranian man can have several wives!
