Thanks so much for your diligence and study, Justin and Tiffany. This is where I initially had questions and as soon as I realized the "Holiness standards" held no weight, it led me to ask if there was anything else they may teach wrongly; and wow; A BUNCH! My heart truly hurts for the many that believe the outward has anything to do with Holiness. It's such a shallow view. We could NEVER measure up; but for Jesus. I'm so grateful to know our righteousness is as filthy rags and that Jesus covers me in His crimson blood. God is so amazing.✝️

I had forgotten to put that word in our notes for the episode. That is one of the main words they use! Haha! Total nonsense.

It really is mind boggling-in addition to just preaching on the “standards”, they will be in a completely different message with no relation and immediately hop onto the standards train! It’s like it’s a continual reinforcement into the minds of people under their pulpit to believe this nonsense. Of course when they do this, they get a lot of “amen”’s from the crowd. I was so upset one Sunday we had a guest preacher at our church. He was taking about something (I can’t remember what exactly) and all of a sudden he starts talking About standards and also said anyone who doesn’t pay tithes is a thief! I was so outraged. Of course I made the mistake of pointing this out on my Facebook page and immediately I’m accused of “causing division” and I’m on “dangerous ground” to criticize “God’s anointed”, that I should have gone to the pastor to talk about this rather than post on Facebook, etc. this stuff and the brainwashing is so entrenched it’s crazy.

Ugh...it's all about control for them. As if you don't have the freedom to post WHATEVER you want on YOUR Facebook. Ludicrous. It's sad, the "amens" come from a people that do not read God's Word properly, and rely 100% on their own behavior for salvation and sanctification.

Great subject because it’s one of the UPCI’s foundational doctrines that’s nowhere supported in scripture. It’s always a treat watching their ministers pretend it’s not a completely manmade tradition.

Having been raised in this type of organization, after more than thirty years of brainwashing, it took years of praying and studying more deeply in the Word to deprogram myself. I am so thankful that I a saved by GRACE and not by works!!

They talk about gender distinction, but they will make men shave their beard. They like to make up stuff and run with it. They told me that i need to have super short hair ( I had longer hair than i usually do because i was waiting on a check to get a haircut) because the longer the hair the more doors i open to homosexuality spirits. I told them what about samson and they said thats different and that was me taking scrupture out of context and i should be careful because thats blasphemy against the holy spirit..... Another thing that ive noticed is that they preach that the holy Spirit will give you convictions, but then they will call you out in firnt of you, behind your back in preachings and will guilt you and gaslight you that you have no convictions because you don't have that holy Spirit connection. And ive seen people take that guilt and pressure from other and confuse it for the holy Spirit.
@justinandtiffany2 ай бұрын
This is so relatable! The Holy Spirit does convict, if they would allow Him to. But they're always trying to do His job, ugh...

It’s not the worst it’s ever been? When is it been this dark and this evil?
@justinandtiffany17 күн бұрын
From ancient civilizations to the present, the existence of evil and darkness (sin!) has been a constant. Not a progression. Might be different, but certainly not worse. Sodom and Gomorrah is when. Lot offered his daughters to the mob. This is deeply troubling and morally reprehensible.

If gender distinction was really important to the Holiness Pentecostal movement, they wouldn't disallow women to look feminine. Even in the Scripture, jewelry was given to women as a mark of beauty. One of the main distinctions in dress during the Old Testament Jewish time (Read the Talmud and other Rabbinical teachings) was docration of dress, I.e., Jewelry and Makeup vs. Beards and Weapons. The Holiness tradition takes 1940's America and makes that somehow God's eutopia of Holiness. This is purely fallacious.
