All these type of drones seem to have their performance issues, so this one had it's share. I guess it did ok, but at this price point, there seems to be better options out there. Great review Marcus, and thanks for sharing.

Amazing color! The controller has a few ornery foibles, but not necessarily severe enough to make it a "deal-breaker". The price might just be a tad high at present. Perhaps an app or controller update would make it a more attractive consideration; that, and a lower price. HS has a potential winner here, otherwise. Thank you, Marcus!

Another excellent review Marcus, thank you. Mind you you have to be congratulated on sticking with still trying non DJI drones. I have several Holystone drones and whether or not they work seems to depend on the day/time or time of the month, their customer service is first class, their drones meh.... Rarely bother getting them out now just stick to DJI,lot less trouble. 🙂

Hey Marcus, awesome intro to your vid and nice looking polo with the patches! I’ve seen a ton of your new drone unboxing/testing vids and this one does appear to be better than many of the other ones you’ve tested! I’m really glad you made it Clear in regard to distance these WIFI drones can fly! I wish I would have known more about the WIFI aspect when I first got in to flying drones! I spent a good amount of money on my first drone and of course it had WIFI with a HUGE Promise of “Good Distance”, very untrue info of course! Mine stated it was able to fly over 10000 feet away without issues, Big Fat lie, live and learn on that for sure! For right at $200 bucks for this one, that’s not too bad of a price. BUT, I’m jaded with all these drones as I’m totally sold on DJI drones just like many others are. Heck for pretty much the same price a person could say Hello to NEO! I’d def pick a NEO over this one but at least the one your testing wasn’t too crazy and did fly decent enough. They def need to zero in the battery life with it going to Zero when it was further out. A new flyer probably would have panicked over that aspect. Anyhow brother, thanks for sharing the vid and your knowledge to all, have a good one!

I agree, you need to manage your expectations with these WiFi drones. With the discount code that HS provided this one is about $135.

You should review the HS360E. You ll get a lot more range with that than the 175. Same system as the HS360S but has EIS , an even more powerful controller, supposed bigger battery/flight time, etc. Nobody has done a comparison really yet of this and the HS900. They're probably the top sub 250 gram drones from Holystone right now. Hs900 will still win the camera comparison with the gimbal. But curious to see if the HS 360E has less non camera problems as far as connection , etc that you had with the HS900. I like that your channel looks at the other factors like controlibility, connection, function. Many of the other drone KZbin channel just focus on the camera. The best camera in the world isn't any use if it flies away on the first use and never comes back.
