Target stores are playing this throughout the day which is where I first heard it and it's taken me months to locate it. Now that I have it is absolutely my favorite song right now, possibly in the top 10 all-time! I was in the Gothic industrial scene in NYC in the 90s but my real pleasure was 80s and synthpop and going out dancing three nights a week. I would have danced the hell out of this song! Now I've been playing it for the last 36 hours and it's starting to get spooky because it feels like I heard it back then but lost track of it as I did so many some Pop bands and songs whose albums I didn't know nor song titles. A lot of music that is lost to me that I really loved, so this one is freaking me out because of course there's no way I could've heard it! LOL but it feels like I did, very spooky, and some of the lyrical sentiments in the song reflect very difficult time then with Manhattan as my backdrop and a variety of 80s and synthpop the soundtrack to a broken heart. So weird. Absolutely incredible song.
