@@ChristAliveForevermore Orthodox Christianity is not a variant of Christianity. It was founded at Pentecost in 33 AD as told in Acts. All other versions of Christianity are variants of Orthodox Christianity. ☦

Until recently, it was very small and ethnically based in the US. But fortunately, that's beginning to change.

@@jamesbarksdale978 What I find amazing is that to become a protestant is very easy yet their number are dropping as the number of denominations are growing. Orthodoxy which has no denominations (they all believe the same things and practice the same liturgy) makes you wait until the priest believes you are ready for catechism, has you stay a catechumen until you are ready for baptism, and even after you receive your first communion keeps you as a novice for years. However even with these requirements (and others such as fasting) the Orthodox church numbers grow every week. Truly amazing!

Just a correction: Holy Vladimir, the Russian prince's territory of the Rus was not on all the territory of today's Russia, but most of Ukraine, Belarus and a part of Russia, so the spread of Orthodox Christianity to the whole huge area was done later, by the Russian Czars and Emperors, after Russia was freed from the Mongol yoke

The Church IS Israel of the Bible. Nothing is being replaced. It's evolved into what it's supposed to be according to God's plan. Abraham is now the father of many nations. The modern-day apartheid nation-state is in the same boat as the rest of us. They ain't special.

Theres a new wako in Russia who says he's Jesus Christ! And another one in Australia and a wako alcoholic woman in Colorado who claimed she was Mother God lol. She's dead. She didn't rise from the dead. Oh lord have mercy. The son of that famous Evangelical church was head of a school and had an affair. It seems like sex is the biggest threat there is to our salvation. Yes, but Gods wrath is not the same as Christian persecution. St Paul tells us we are not appointed to this, so we are not. I dont accept the Protestants idea of pre tribulation rapture, thats totally false. Read about Lots Day and you will then understand how it will play out.
