The toy Kevin had was called a Talkboy. Most of us in the 90's had one or wanted one. It was basically a tape player with a microphone made exclusively for the movie. Everyone wanted one, they actually made them for sale. You could slow down or speed up the recording. Pretty neat for the time.

My son is autistic and loves Christmas and not just makes cookies for Santa but cause where I live there are deer so my son puts carrots and celery outside and gets so excited seeing the deer prints and the food gone but I eat the cookies 😅. He gets very excited when seeing the presents and jumps on my bed and tells me to come Santa came Santa came come come look look look until my behind is out of bed.
