It reminds me of one of the stories in the mobile game choices desire and decorum which I am rereading with a different love interest right now and it doesn't seem to affect the plot that much but your character gets engaged one of three love interest guys who are clearly interested in you you choose at the end of the first book who you want to be with and accept their proposal but right as you go to announce it so you can inherit the home you're supposed to inherit but can only do that if you're married cuz it's the early 1800s your grandma says she has engaged you to a douche canoe who has been very creepy towards you since you met him but she's like oh he's powerful you should definitely be happy to marry him and I'm like granny I already am engaged to somebody I actually love this guy is evil book two is basically you trying to break the engagement with this mother f***** and book three is you actually preparing to marry the guy you are actually engaged to the early 1800s is b******* is what I'm saying

A breakout role is the film you become really famous for. This didn't make her famous; it was just an early role she happened to be in. Her breakout roles were probably Lost in Translation and Girl With a Pearl Earring, both from 2003, though she got a lot of acclaim for his supporting role in The Horse Whisperer in 1998, a year after this movie.

@@polelix1023 Rear Window is a Hitchcock movie (totally worth watching if you've not seen it) about a man spying on his neighbours who may, or may not, have witnessed a murder. There's not much to get really, Ryan's comparing Alex's character in HA to the main character in RW. It's funny because RW is classic of the genre, by a director at the height of his powers and HA4 is... not. I didn't think I had even seen it until I saw the clips and remembered I loved it when I was a kid. Edit: I don't think I even knew it was a Home Alone movie.

Same! It was a nice movie and I actually liked the kid, didn't matter it wasn't Culkin.

I liked this one, the bad guys were set-up to actually feel like a threat, which made it all the more hilarious when they fell for the traps.

Underrated opinion: Home Alone 3 was a really decent movie. Just think of it as a stand alone film and not a home alone film that’s connected to parts 1-2 and you have a really good movie!

It's just a different kid who's home alone, don't really need to change the title of the movie because we're not following Kevin. Be thankful Kevin owns and runs a security company by the 6th movie.

Quick correction. The second time Alex called the cops, they didn't arrive too late. The guy hid in the ceiling and the cops didn't see him.

I saw this one first which is why the first two didn't work as well for me because in 3 the mom is knocked to her nieces and apologizes for not believing Alex. That scene meant everything to me and had a lot to do with my feelings on life. On 1 and 2 Buzz never truly gets in trouble for his actions.
