I love your teaching style. I need help. I followed this email and got HA to display start screen. It did not show an address for IP4 or IP6 and I could not see how to start HA. All was showing was the HA prompt. It appeared that the install of yours that I followed would only boot from usb. I did get a failed on Kernel time Synchronized. I really would like it to be installed on the NUC's ssd. Would you be so kind as to advise how I should proceed please?

How would I wipe home assistant for the NUC to do a fresh install?

If you follow this guide, you can override your current setup, i.e, perform a fresh install.

BTW the HA splash screen says "waiting for supervisor to startup and then returns " Error returned from Supervisor: System is not ready with state: setup"

It's hard to debug it here, did you manage to fix it?

@@SimplySmartHouse nope. My guess is that it can't recognize the Ethernet port. In windows 11 the Ethernet was working though. I ended up installing Debian 12 OS and installed home assistant there.

Unfortunately not everyone has an external enclosure.
