NOTE: the “drinking” safe water hose is the best option because a “garden” hose or any other hose besides a drinking water safe hose can contain chemicals and pesticides…. You don’t want that to leech into the water in your birthing tub that you are going to be laboring in and the baby will come out into. Just thought I’d mention 😊🙏

I really enjoyed this so much but I haven’t the slightest idea why! My children are 13 years apart and that was quite an experience. I can’t imagine doing this with no epidural and at home but that is the way God intended it to be. It was so interesting to see the prep work that goes into a home birth. Thank you for sharing this! And may God continue to bless you and your family.

I can't wait to see your birth vlog! I just delivered 4/2/22 baby #3. he was a natural birth center birth. i wanted to mention for anyone who is far away from their birth place, I was 1hr from mine. I was having 4-5min apart breath through contractions, and I didn't feel good in the front seat just sitting, so I got on all 4s in the back and my contraction slowed down to 7-10min apart. Got to my birth center 10:55pmand contractions were on top of each other once I stood. I got checked and was 5cm and intense contractions. I got in the tub at 11:15pm and my water broke. I delivered baby at 11:33pm. it was my fastest latest baby 9lb 3oz. no tearing! such a fun beautiful birth to experience. first water birth! highly recommend! I was so amazed, everyone told me baby#3 is the wild card! and boy were they right! I am happy we we both happy and healthy!

How did you avoid tearing????
@jessicaduffield1899 Жыл бұрын
@@toastednoodles4975 i did not tear with any of my 3 babies i think what having them natural helped because I didn't just push to get the baby out without feeling. And I when it came time to push i didn't push crazy hard and fast. I followed my body cues and my midwife and doula both gave great tips of down breathing. I think doulas are worth their weight on gold i had an amazing one. They remind you of what to do in the moment when you get scared. But also check out Bridgette Taylor onKZbin she has some great videos on this. Best of luck

So smart to use the cart! I just ordered my kit this week, I’m totally going to steal one of the kids’ homeschool carts and put my supplies in there for my midwives/john. I love the timing of this video 😉

Having the cart with everything readily accessible is amazing! It definitely helped when the midwives came in and only had 10 minutes before baby was out!

HELLO EVERYONE 👋This is an absolutely amazing video thank you so much for the information!!! QUESTIONS: 1) Does water births reduce labor pain?!?!? 2) having so many home births, do you still get scared and nervous????? 3) Will you do a video of your home birth!?!?! BLESS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY ❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️🥰🥰
@ThisMamasHouse2 жыл бұрын
I’m not sure if it reduces pain, but I do feel more comfortable in the water and tend to want to be in water whenever I’m in pain for any reason. I definitely still get nervous about labor pains, but not so much giving birth at home. I’d be more scared to go to the hospital. I did film the whole birth and I’m so excited to share! It’s coming out April 19th at 10am!!

I've heard of the Peri squeeze bottles that work like the condiment squeeze bottles. I know I'm a weirdo about playing with my empty condiment bottles. I stack, hold and squeeze 'em.

Q. When you havea home birth, does your midwife(not sure what you call her) give baby vitamin k and weigh the baby? Basically things done at a hospital?

Precious Mama please reconsider throwing away baby's placenta, as the stem cells in the cord can cure him of any future illnesses in his life god forbid. usually you can bank the cord in the hospital or if at home freeze it(and keep it frozen) that's the same thing the hospital does.

I'm not having anymore kids but these videos are always interesting to me. Things are so different than they were when my kids were born. I am expecting my 1st grand baby in June!! I'm super excited! I wish my daughter could have water birth or home water birth. But due to some genetic pelvic bone issues it just isn't a safe option for us. I tried to have a home water birth & when my water broke something told me to go to the hospital immediately. Luckily I did. Otherwise my baby and myself wouldn't have made it. So glad u can have the birth you want!! So cool!!!
