This really is good of you, Martin; ads ruin the listening experience. I am looking forward to receiving the latest CD. Physical media (in addition to digital) will always be my preference.

@@MartinStuertzer you're welcome. Happy to support. I'm currently using Soundcore Life Dot Bluetooth. Charge last all day but some albums are to high or low in range and that's when they struggle or I blew them out but don't think that happened. It's crazy how much music changes a long ride. Especially long form tracks. State Azure is another ride companion.

with a small budget you can also achieve this with the U-he Zebra II synthesizer in quality and abundance. You also use the free Valhalla "Supermassive" tool and a good free professional sequencer like "Reaper" ... and you're good to go. The U-he Zebra II VST synthesizer only costs about 200 euros ... and it pretty much covers everything you need for electronic music. The rest is then left to your creativity 😉

@@3d-marabu I have lots of software, but there's something in creativity when you're working with hardware. Lots of things can be something different you've wanted to program in software and the workflow is completely different. That's why I would prefer hardware If I could afford it. Anyway, till today I make lots of stuff based on software. It's just, when I get another hardware synth for testing, some things are different ;)
@3d-marabu2 жыл бұрын
@@esersound1 that's a big mistake if you think it's all much easier with hardware synthesizers. With a decent sequencer program and some really good VST synthesizers, you have a lot more options and much faster access to various setting parameters. In today's multi-processing 64-bit computer age, hardware synthesizers are actually just a visual highlight. Today you can even imitate a Yamaha CS80 flawlessly via VST, which is vastly superior to the original in terms of its functionality. 😉
@esersound12 жыл бұрын
@@3d-marabu I didn't say it's easier, just that you can achieve different results (we can say "random" results) :) Tweaking physical knobs is faster for me as I don't really like to program midi controllers for soft-synths, so maybe it's just me (but I know lots of people out there with similar feelings). As for the multi-processing - I can still create patches with UVI Falcon that an M1 or an Intel i9 can't handle ;) Of course it is true that you can can make almost everything with software. Just the inspiration can be different,

I’m really loving the sounds and feel of this performance. I produce in Cubase but I think I need to learn Ableton because the options for real-time performance in Cubase are limited. Really good stuff. Subscribed.

Hi Martin - lovely music, once again. Can I ask - when you do arpeggiated sequences do you use Ableton midi clips or the synths’ internal sequencers? Or does it simply depend on the track in question? And is the delay here on the arp on track one U-he Color copy or another plugin? Thanks for sharing all of this - it’s always such a pleasure to listen to.
@MartinStuertzer2 жыл бұрын
Thank you! I usually program all sequences with Ableton midi clips. The Juno 60 used the internal arpeggiator, clocked with an audio output from my audio interface. In this set most delays were done with Valhalla DSP Delay.

Hi Martin, is that the 7 year old Push 2 you mentioned the other day? Looking around the Push 3 although a rumour is just that still so wondering if a Push 2 is worth getting bearing in mind your pad issue. Loved this by the way always massively impressive what you do.

Yes it is! Push2 is my centerpiece and if it broke now I´d probably get a new one today. You can see that I always have to press the buttons very firmly. When I use other units in a shop or from a friend I don´t have this issue.

Do you have a headphone recommendation to compliment your music?
@david-22 жыл бұрын
Just get a good, balanced pair within a budget that you find reasonable. Do lots of research, read reviews, etc. If your budget is 50 EUR or 200 EUR, just get the best within your budget. Regarding specifics, if you like lots of bass, get something with that sonic profile, or if you want music "as the artist intended", get a pair with a flat response.
