1. I was hoping you would address his grip and handling of his gun. It was the first thing I noticed when the story broke out here. I feel that he probably would have got some a hit or two, if he had a good grip. 2. Mental Preparation: He definitely ran a scenario or two through his mind prior to this situation. I can't stress mental preparation enough, it cuts down on response times. Recently at my job an incident took place, where an individual reacted very slowly. It was like his brain couldn't process what he was seeing. Some attributed to him being only 2yrs in. I attributed it to him not being mentally ready. I never thought I would hear the Tyson meme quote "Everyone has a plan until they get punched in the face" in real life. He literally said it word for word. I almost fell out. I'm 100% certain he never ran the scenario through his head. In 2021 we had a partner get attacked, got hit with a left hook and went down. He Immediately gets back up to engage. But....His back up literally took steps back, never once engaged the threat. He even dropped his OC spray 😂 and did that stutter step. People do when they don't know how to react. 3. Always carry with one in the chamber and train.
