**For those who are having a hard time getting it off demo mode** It took me far too long to figure it out. But I saw on the back of the remote that it says,'hold demo button until lights flash once.' Then you can change the mode.

Mine seems to have a large gap between section 1 and 2. Is section 1 not far enough into section 2?? The lights are working.

Does anyone know if this tree has a plug in for a tree topper? Usually trees like this have a female plug hidden in the top section but we can’t find one on this tree. The cord on our topper doesn’t reach the outlet and it’s hard to believe they didn’t think to put one on the tree somewhere.

It looks like it comes into the trunk in the lowest section of the tree. In the opposite direction it has a foot petal then the wall plug. Hope that is helpful.

Would you be willing to try this tree with a dedicated dimmer? I have the same brand of tree at home, but it's too bright in our living room

I hadn’t thought of that. Maybe as a way to decrease brightness? Thanks for the suggestion.

Bought this tree last year. Just put the tree up and the lights do not work. Would not buy again. Have to see if the company will replace as it has, I believe, a 3 year warranty from manufacturer. Ugh

It says on Home Depot that it does warranty but it’s 3 years from manufacture date not purchase date: “product is warranted for 3 years from the manufacture date.” I got that from the Warranty link within the product page here www.homedepot.com/p/Home-Accents-Holiday-7-5-ft-Pre-Lit-LED-Jackson-Noble-Artificial-Christmas-Tree-W14N0202/312822738 Hope that is helpful

In the instructions- - WARRANTY 3-year Limited Warranty This product carries a three (3) year warranty against defects in workmanship and materials for the repair or replacement of products from the date of purchase. We bought this last week. We can't get out of demo mode on foot pedal nor remote 😢

In the instructions it says to hold down the foot pedal for 5 seconds until the lights blink once which unlocks demo mode. Then you can choose whatever mode you want on the remote.

Would you happen to know where I can get a replacement remote my dog ate mine🤬

I do not. It would be nice if they offered a replacement at Home Depot but I did not see one online. Also it would be nice if the remote allowed us to dim the lights. There is a dimmer function in the tree already but it’s constantly looping the dim from bright to dark. I’d like to be able to hack that somehow and get it to be less bright, steadily.

Same issue here. I called the manufacturer and they were able to send me a replacement remote. However, I have yet to be able to figure out how to pair it with the tree.

I agree. And I think it has the components built in to do more, based on the fading pattern it can do. Wish it was more configurable/customizable.

@@ckeo7524 I didn't want to go near the tree until after Christmas, or I'd hear about it if it stopped working. Now that its almost New Years, its open-season on experimenting with the tree 😀
