Very truthful homily, thank you! My husband and I just moved to an SSPX which is an hour away. We made this move exactly for what this homily expresses but I understand that the NO parish I used to attend, is a family of people who love the Lord very much and it is where they are comfortable. They do not see the difference between the NO and TLM due to the environment they grew up in. It is my love for God, my Lord Jesus, that through the Holy Spirit, I pray for every Catholic to experience the supernatural richness of the TLM. 🙏🏻♥️

As a Home Depot employee, I can relate to Fr. Paul’s analogy of DIY Protestant, vs. Catholic Church Family. God Bless.

Truly a beautiful and encouraging sermon. It seems like sometimes reading the imitation of Christ or other saints in that they say going outside is costly for the soul or not be looked for. The imprudence in that can be taken out to more of a state of solitude and not trying to look outwards. Great counsel in this. Which does remind me of charity and our Lord's word go out and teach what I can commanded you. God bless you Fr.

The nearest SSPX chapel is over an hour away from me. I try to make the trip every week but my wife always wants us to go to the NO because our son and his family go there and our chapel is tiny. Please pray for us. It’s extremely difficult to go to the NO and see all of the liturgical abuses.

Just refuse to go. Treat it like it's a mason meeting. You don't have to get in the car and you definitely don't have to go into the nave.

It would take you over an hour taking the family 200 years ago in an ox cart to mass, exposed to the elements.

As the head of the family, you have the authority to attend Mass wherever you will discern, by the grace of God, to be more conducive to the salvation of your immortal soul and that of the members of your family. You are in my prayers ❤✝️🌹🙏. God bless you!

My faith is the one, holy, apostolic Church. When I attend Mass (NO) I often just pray the Hail Mary, or bring a spiritual reading from the early saints to read during the homily which is often about worldly things. Mass in the NO is about man, lay people giving out communion dressed immodestly, almost no genuflection, people’s phones ringing, even the sign of peace makes me cringe. Reading doctors of the church, praying 3 decades of the rosary, and meditating on the life of Mary and the Passion of Jesus, and anything prior to 1955, has helped me become more detached from the world. The NO Mass has not helped me move closer to Jesus Christ and Mary. It is difficult, and I fail often, but I see the fruits of this over the past year, and we risk much (family, job, relationships). It is only by God’s grace I understand what is at stake.

I left Catholicism for over 30 years, we spent that time in many evangelical churches. We woke up during the great hoax. We are now in SSPX, and loving the true church. Protestantism can be social, however because the faith is synthetic ( man made) it assimilates naturalism. Those who wear wool and appreciate its God made qualities, compared to plastic synthetic material appreciate what God created. Sadly there are many who are deceived. It’s like creation, those who can not perceive how God created everything in 7 days, are left trying to align with science. They Profess to know God, yet are drawn into the lies of Darwinism. Sadly their faith becomes synthetic.

There's an error here on all charity to Fr and an irony, which is that protestant churches in the US are the extreme other way, they are ONLY for social purposes.

As a Protestant, I can confirm this, unfortunately. Most churches are like social clubs..

@@eoggblaine9725 I've met more Catholics that believe in evolution than Evangelical Protestants.

Trads pick and choose what they want to be traditional about and what they emphasize from scripture, practically nothing that Jesus emphasizes in the gospels, like unity eg
