Pro tip if you want to keep the Plastic base from Breaking. Hold the Engine cover when you start it. The Plastic that holds it (The Back pack part springs on the bottom) will not break that way. Also? Use the 40:1 for break-in for the first month or so. Then switch to the 50:1. That store mix fuel is Just OKAY.. Not great. There are better Mixes out there if you have to pay that much for it. Getting ethanol free gas is not that hard. Also? You can use Camping fuel that's often a better value and has less of an additive package if you want a cleaner burn with Synthetic mix if you want to DIY. Otherwise, regular gas as long as you run it DRY each time? Will not be too much of an issue if you are using the Echo mix and additive. Much cheaper way to go. Chickanic talked about it a few months ago. Lastly? Use come compressed air and clean out the innards the best you can. The Blower Fan does get clogged up with dirt, so its best to try to clean that with a brush every season. Its a pain, but it keeps the Blower flowing at TIP TOP!

I bought one of these a few days ago. I must say very impressive. I have never been disappointed with Ryobi products. Once the rings fully seat it will run smoother. So far I like it.

Anyone worried about mixtures, just get a 1 gallon can, and a handful of pre measured (for a gallon of gas) 2 stroke oil. 1 container for 1 gallon
