Those 13 albums include the ones they made before they were thrust into the national (and now international) spotlight on Season 4 of the Sing-Off. The group was actually founded in 2000/2001. There is a series of "Home Free History" videos on KZbin that goes through the history of the group through about 2013 or 2016. You might also consider reacting to their Sing-Off performances with the judges' comments. You can find those on KZbin as well.

Tim and Austin are both song writers (they both play piano as well) and there are lots of original songs of theirs on yt. Tim's include "Remember This", "Snow Globe" and "What's Left of My Heart". Austin's include "Love Me Like That", "California Country" and on his channel "If I Met You Now" and "Earn It".
@sheliaspringer73892 жыл бұрын
This is fabulous and so are you. TIM FOUST actually wrote this and "SNOW GLOBE"! He wrote many of their songs! Thanks for your great reation! "Snow GLOBE" seems like it would be a Christmas song but it really was not written about the Holidays!

That was Avi. They filmed this video the same day they did "Ring of Fire" so, since he was there, they invited him to be a part of this video as well. Did you notice him sitting on the bull in the background at the end? This song is such fun, and it's an original, written by Tim.

Yep. This was written by Tim. Home Free, Pentatonix, and Voice Play - the holy trinity of a capella.

The story behind this song is hilarious: Something like a decade ago Tim's employer told him to write a country song but he didn't want to. So he came up with the "worst" (his words) country song he could think of--and to this day it is one of his most popular originals 😆
@grannymitch94752 жыл бұрын

That was such a fun video. This is an original song that Tim wrote. These guys know how to have fun without compromising their vocals. Rob is great with his whistling & love Adam's vocal percussion. Home Free are my favorite a cappella band out there. And Avi Kaplan did a cameo role in this one.
@babyfry47752 жыл бұрын
This is another goofy one but I just love the boys. Tim wrote this. The story goes that he was under contract to someone and they asked him to write a country song when he didn’t necessarily want to write just country. He went home, got drunk and wrote this in one hour. He said it’s funny because it’s popular and he thought it would bomb. That was Avi Kaplan making an appearance. They had collaborated on Ring of Fire and he hung around for this one. Can you imagine Tim, Geoff and Avi singing together?? It would literally bring the house down. Helplessly Hoping, I Can’t Outrun You, In the Blood, Dive Bar Saints, What We Ain’t Got. Good reactions BP!

That was Avi that set the champagne flute on the table, walked in front of the seated crowd, and was sitting on the bull way in the back at the end. That up/down/up dance move is a staple of Home Free; I've seen it in several videos and during the Sing-Off.
@nightthornkvala94132 Жыл бұрын
Correction: That was not Avi's hand that set the flute on the table. It was a female crew member who happened to have on a similar shirt. I got online spanked a bit about that mistake.

Home Free is my favorite A cappella group. Or actually the only A cappella group that I really follow and listen to and watch every day. It doesn't matter what song, what genre, Home Free will make something of it. All different great voices, but still one. They have a song for every emotion I'm in. Just like this one. Doesn't that just make you happy? The beautiful whistling of Rob, the deep voice of Tim, the harmonies, the lyrics, the arrangement. It's also great to see how much fun they have together. Think their personalities, having no egos, no rivalry and having fun together (behind and in front of the scenes) give them that little bit more, so they're just perfect for me.

Tim actually wrote this one when his boss in California told him he was going to have to write Country music. At the time, he was trying to get away from the Country music scene. I believe he said that he wrote the corniest, most stereotypical country things he could think of to get that out of his system. He has a great interview on The Charismatic Voice's KZbin channel. It's too long for a reaction, but you might enjoy watching it on your own just for informational purposes.
