Rob's whistling is wondrous! The story behind this song is hilarious: Many years ago Tim's employer told him to write a country song but he didn't want to. So he came up with the "worst" (his words) country song he could think of--and to this day it is one of his most popular originals 😆 #HomeFree

It’s a funny story too about the song. Tim used to live in LA and was writing songs. His boss wanted him to write a country song and he didn’t want to but the boss insisted so Tim went home and got drunk and wrote this in one night. It’s a big hit for him too. So funny and you laughed at the lyrics I laughed at, “I won’t see her pretty face at all since the prison’s no where near the mall”. Hahaha. Just too funny. Good one Red!😍😄

I notice that you haven’t gotten into Chance leads, or Chance’s solo work. First I’m making recommendations of him with HF-“I Can’t Outrun You “, 5 part harmony, Chance’s lower register, hauntingly beautiful, and Chance directed the video ( it was his project). “Cover Me Up”, and let it play out as there is a surprise. “Some Girls Do”, “Yours”. For his solo work, he has 2 KZbin channels- Adam Chance and Adam Chance-Topic. On the topic channel you will find “Far From Any Road”- it has a western feel, Adam Rupp provides percussion and bass guitar, as Chance plays acoustic and electric. On Adam Chance channel there are several-“Song for Home”, which Chance wrote, and is absolutely beautiful. “Driver’s License “, his latest “Mrs. Potter’s Lullaby”. And with the Hound and the Fox is “Wayfaring Stranger”. If you go to the Hound and the Fox’s channel you’ll find, with Chance, “Sound of Silence “, “Hurt”, The Whistling Lad”, “My Mother Told Me.” The Hound and the Fox are well worth discovering. I find that Chance is often overlooked and not requested of reactors as much. I don’t understand it, because his voice is so smooth, warm and enveloping. He is a storyteller, and and simply impressive.

Have you seen their cover of “In The Hall Of The Mountain King”? Tim's original - the song, singing, harmonies & beatboxing are, as always terrific. Did you notice the 3 cameos by Avi Kaplan? The hand that puts the champagne glass on the table is his, he walks past them and is also on the bull at the back.

How can you not smile when watching that? What a fun video! This is an original song that Tim wrote. These guys know how to have fun without compromising their vocals. Rob is great with his whistling & love Adam's vocal percussion. Fun seeing Avi Kaplan doing a cameo in this.

Thank you for sharing your day with us! Delta Dawn is really well done and beautiful! Their first coming out of lockdown song was One Man Band. Love it! Simple harmonies. Moonshine is another simple yet beautiful one. Hillbilly Bone is a straight up country party with some great scenery and some comedy. Brother is hilarious and ohhh so good if you like watching Amberly beat the snot out of Austin). Coming up on mother's day I'd recommend Mom, To the moon and back, Starship (you get to see Rob's kids!), when will I be loved and when you are down and blue, Everything will be okay. For appreciation of women Woman Amen/Female is soooo good! Anti-bullying, Don't laugh at me is wonderful. Romance is Cover Me Up, Unchained Melody and God Blessed the broken road. Goofy you have All about that bass (watch the original first since it is a tasteful parody) and Workin for a living. On April fools look up their Bohemian rhapsody they released with 2 others on April 1 3 years ago (it's short). Then listen to Never gonna give you up as a follow up. That is a great combo for one show. And Ain't going down til the sun comes up is not on YT but WOW! Country road, Boondocks and American Pie are classics they did so well. Hope that gives you lots of ideas. I'm sure you will come up with something. Stay sweet and beautiful!
