If you listen to the post talking - Adam, the beatboxer arranged that. Awesome arrangement.

First time I heard this I was afraid the ice would fall down when Tim hit that low notes
@Cindyannef4 жыл бұрын
Every year this Ice Castle moves to a different location. But the years they filmed this, it was in Eden Prairie, Minnesota. Adam, the beat boxer, arranged this song and video, and I think he did an outstanding job.
@chrismorin13184 жыл бұрын
1st you've got Adam doing all the insane things that only Adam can do. Then you've got Tim trying to collapse the ice castle using both fire breathing dragon AND earthquake tactics. Then incorporate Chris, Rob, and Austin all carrying their loads with excellent sounds. I don't know how this could sound any better UNLESS I got to hear it live! Keep up the awesome reactions!

What's truly amazing about this crazy difficult arrangement is that they manage to perform it live during their Christmas shows. I cannot adequately describe how breathtaking the live version is.

One of my favorite things about this song is that each one of them was featured--even the least-noticed member, Chris Rupp. What a beautiful voice that man has! Brad, I loved your reaction at 5:45 when Rob came in with his sweet solo. Perfect!

This has been my favorite Christmas song since high school. My teacher always had us discuss our songs and I still recall who this song starts out simple and becomes more and more complicated. You see that in their arrangement here. Until I watched this video, I remembered that high school arrangement. Not any more. Now I hear this. Might be because I've listened to this exclusively? If someone asks "which song would you use to try and explain Home Free to someone" I usually give this one first. It sill gives me chills after all these years. Thanks! ^_^

One of your best reactions!! ❤️ Loved it!! When it first came out, they went on & on about the obnoxiously low & high notes that were in it. LOL! Obviously that's not a thing anymore! 😉 They also said they would never do it live becuz of that. Glad they changed their minds becuz it sends chills down your back when they sing it live! You feel every note!!

Grandma got run over by a reindeer and “ full of cheer “ ( their own composition) if we are doing home free Christmas!
@bethcoussou4 жыл бұрын
That is my favorite Christmas song, which is on the “Full of Even More Cheer” album. Adam arranged that and I loved everything about it, but there’s so much going on, layers of harmonies, etc.. Tim’s bass was otherworldly, as usual. I really enjoyed watching listen with your ears and when I saw someone suggest this to you, I hoped you’d react to it sooner than later. I love Christmas, too, especially Christmas music, which is perfect for a cappella music!

This is such a beautiful song kudos to you Adam Rupp for doing this video..oh my God you did an outstanding job on the arrangements.. Hands down to you Home Free..

I'm so glad you posted this! There is SO much going on in this arrangement, you will hear something different every time you listen. I like that it's not only the great chords and sound effects, but they do interesting little timing things like throwing in some backbeat echoes or putting in some syncopation. Yum.

One of the things I love about this song is when Tim does that run from tenor down to ...probably the lowest note in the song. Some people miss the fact that he runs right down multiple octaves in a matter of seconds.

An awesome one of course! Thanks. It was special too as Adam arranged. They laughingly said his arrangements were usually too hard to do! lol. But they all agreed this one was worth making happen!
