The boys killed this! I swear Adam Rupp must have the best neck, jaw and tongue muscles on the planet. Austin is cheeky, fun and so young but still sounds phenomenal. Rob’s voice is so pure it just melts me every time I hear it and Tim and Chris just blend everything so well

Austin was in his late 20s and had been a professional for years. He was blessed/cursed with looking 10 years younger than his age but seems to have caught up with himself.

Love this older one from Home Free (2014). They all look so young especially Austin. Love the scatting that Austin does. And Adam Rupp blows me away with his fabulous beatboxing as usual. These guys are infectious. Love all their different personalities. They make me smile. The ending is funny. The song says "Wake Me Up When It's All Over", so Rob woke Austin up from his dream.

Great reaction guys! LeeJaay, I think it’s so good of you to mention Adam’s extraordinary beatboxing. This video actually shows him doing his talent. You even see the strength of his neck muscles as he sounds out the instruments. Stan, you also gave a great reaction to Adam. I love how both of you give attention to all of their talents. This was their first 'official' video. It was released in Nov 2013 - between when the Sing Off was taped and when it aired, and long before Avicii died. Baby-faced Austin was 27, Tim 32.

Austin's scatting in this is on point, and it's one of my favorites of his vocals, especially since I really love to hear him sing in his lower register. Ruppster and Tim of course take it home with the rhythm, and Rob and Chris switching up the backup vocals each verse to keep it interesting is everything. #homefree

A couple years ago, I went back and listened to Avicii singing this. I was pleasantly surprised how well HF was able to convert this song to a capella. Of course, Adam sprinkled his magic to make it work. And baby-faced Austin scatting! This was one of the first (if not first) videos HF released after winning The Sing-Off 10 yrs ago. Home Free may come across to you as just a bunch singing for fun, but most of them have college training in music and even at the time of this recording had years and years of experience under their collective belts. It's a little irritating to hear highly trained and experienced artists spoken of as if they were a random group of amateurs, when they are professionals to their fingertips. Btw you can't be very observant if you haven't noticed a great reduction in Rob's size. He was very ill and afterwards decided that the time had come to lose weight. Tim did the same by giving up alcohol. What was "dark" about the little joke about waking Austin up from his dream of singing the song?
