Pat...this version is so amazing. I actually think it has a better, more mature, soulful sound than the original. Love it so much. It was really nice to hear Rob and Austin play in those high notes. So deep. Reminds me of the Ring of Fire version with Avi with two bass. So many layers. Adam and Chance are always so strong too. They are basically the entire band or orchestra.

Pat ... that was good wasn't it? I didn't listen to the song "back in the day" ... I do remember it though. This wasn't a straight cover; Home Free always seems to change it up a bit --- just for that reason (not to be a straight cover). They were absolutely phenomenal with this ... oh so good! And Rob --- he's a beast!!! He's really showing his versatility... adapting to what is necessary or what the song calls for. Think he is the "make it happen" guy (and the glue!) in this group.
